3 year post RNY Surgiversay - where does the time go?

I can't wait to get my lab work and shove it the Nurses face at TWH. You know I have nothing but bad things to say about my experience with them.  The Nurse there told me a Iron Ferritin level of 4 was "low" and that I didn't need Iron Infusions, ummmmm hello lady I am the walking Dead with a Ferrtin of 4, there is nothing lower than zero dumb dumb and that is where I was headed if I had of listened to her!

Like I said in my post, they are great pre op, they do prepare you well, they have amazing surgeons, but the Nurse and NUT I have dealt with have been wrong and given me a lot of wrong info, so I would take their advice of "don't do PatchMD" with a grain of salt.

You are going to go great. Make a binder now and print this off shove it in there for next year and recipes you find and websites it all comes together after surgery.  Being here pre op as you are it just makes this journey that much easier, in my opinion!

Keep up the great work!

You've done an amazing job Daisy. Just incredible. I hope new folks read your story again and again.

At my three year surgiversary I started to notice a LOT of the cohort that had surgery about when I did were running into bigger problems going off plan and regaining. That was the first time that I started feeling better about the path I was on. And I became more determined to stay on the straight and narrow.

Thanks for still being here Daisy. I wouldn't want to be doing this without you.

My friend and Comrade in AMAW, thank you so very much for your lovely words!

I could not agree more that at a certain point post op there were people that were around the same time as me post op and so many of them have disappeared, so sad and yes it just more motivation to me to keep working those rules!!!

I also would not be here if it was not for you and your hot gal JB, love to you both!
