Iguana has a taste and texture a lot like chicken. They're actually referred to jokingly as tree-chickens in some parts of the world. =)

I would totally love to try that place! I'm adventurous with meats, and aside from liver, haven't found a meat I don't like!

Oh my!!!

That meny scars me!  I love meat but.....

The most exotic meat I have ever had was Moose meat and I was tricked into eating it. I was young, dating this guy who I wanted to impress, this was before hubby and he put a "steak" on my plate, I ate it and only after did he tell me it was Moose.

I will live vicariously through you & JB and you can tell me how it is! Ha ha ha

The only way I would eat any of those things is if the only alternative was brussels sprouts.

I have only ever eaten the Big Four. Cows, Pigs, Chickens, and Turkeys. I've never had any other kind of critters.

Not even venison?? It's a very lean red meat. It's on my menu several times a week!

Grim....Love, love, love wild game. I eat it every chance I can. Game meat is very expensive if you can even find it. $28.00 is actually pretty darn good price for the 4 course meal!

This is only about 1 1/2 to 2 hrs from my house.

Morning everyone!

Qotd not really. I did and do all those things you mentioned (well not heels) and I've always pushed myself into new experiences, which is not to say I wasn't anxious about them, I was riddled  with it.  But what I can say is, I've been able to let my guard down a little regarding the planning that goes into doing anything. Last night I attended an Irish concert at a venue I'd never been to before. I didn't realize until we were at the door that I had no idea what the seats were like. 70 pounds ago, I would have been googling images, and insisted on aisle seats etc.

I was pretty excited about that. It's one of the main reasons I wanted surgery. I wanted to make my way in the world a little easier. I still have a long way to go, but it's happening, and I couldn't be happier.

B: protein shake with pb2

L: tuna salad on 1/2 live organic wrap( bought these at whole foods, pricey but low in carb and great when you don't want a lettuce wrap)

D: chicken lentil kale curry soup

protein at least 60, calories under 500

have a great day all!

Love your "let your guard" down story, concert sounds amazing. And it's true you don't have to "think" about things now, the whole "will I fit", I just do things now without even thinking. Sitting on the Subway and restaurant booths. You hit the nail on the head there.

Habe to tell us how the wrap was with your tuna, and your dinner sounds amazing! Homemade or Store bought, cuz if Store bought I want to know where! Lol

Good morning Daisy and Menu Family!

QOTD: I'm too early out for this question, but I imagine clothes will definitely play a role in it. I was however still trying to dress as nice as plus sized wear could offer even at an MO size, so I know I'll be a bit more of a fashion plate as i get smaller. I am scared of speaking in front of people, whether i'm fat or skinny, so i dont know if that will change about me.

I'm going to have to search for that protein hot chocolate, Daisy! sounds amazing!
