Another delay!
For some reason, all November surgeon appointments at Toronto Western Hospital have been cancelled. I will see the surgeon on January 6.
I know it's only 6 more weeks but I'm disappointed. That's not even the surgery date- that's when I get the date for surgery.
RNY Jan 12, 2017 Lost 137 lbs but regained 60.
77 lbs lost and counting!
Losing the regain! I got this!
Ugh. I'm so sorry. It's very frustrating when you get so close, and things get in the way.

Just keep telling yourself you are going to have surgery. You are going to be okay. I know that sounds silly but it is true.
Take this time to practice. Not drinking with meals and eating protein forward meals.
Makes lists of things you can see yourself doing after surgery.

Awww .... feeling for you. Can totally understand your frustration.
Oh NO! That sucks to bad. I know that you are ready, and it will be here soon. Hang in there and keep coming back here. You'll get there, and we'll be here when you do. I know my words don't help, not really, but HEY, at least you don't have to have Donald Trump as the leader of your country! LOLOLOLOL
I have been there and I feel your pain daizymom!!!! To be blunt...It sucks and I'm sorry you have to wait for your appointment.
I had to wait an extra year. I was scheduled for surgery in 10/2015 and 2 weeks before that I was made aware that there was an exclusion in my insurance policy and it wasn't being covered despite how medically necessary it was. In January 2016 I was able to pick a plan that covered WLS and I had to start the process all over again.
Hang in there and the extra prep time will most definitely benefit you. Good luck with everything!
