I love your honesty, both of you!!!  Someday everyone will be able to just be themselves without fear. Sadly, it won't happen in my lifetime.  :(

I seriously LOL'd at your last line...  Gay, straight, fat, thin, man, woman, black, white or purple who cares, I think you are a beautiful blond who is working her tush off to get healthy! And I am proud of you girl

Word to the wise my friend, DITCH the protein bars!  Not a good choice this early out. Would rather see you have a second Premier protein shake than a protein bar.  Or even more babybel cheese.

If you need some help with your menu tomorrow post for us what you need (if you need help) and we can all jump in with ideas.

I know they are not the first choice... just had no desire to take anything and I had a bar in my purse.  It is better than eating out... but I do know to get back to real food.

Good morning Daisy and menu peeps.  Count me in as one of the dazed Americans this morning.  I feel like I have a hangover, even though I didn't have anything to drink.  It is going to be a very long day.

Daisy, I have a big cushy duvet on my bed, too.  I love it!  It is so cozy in the winter, particularly since I like a cool room and a warm bed.  It is perfect.  Plus I have a slight linen addition, so it is fun to be able to change out the duvet cover whenever I get the whim.  I do not think it is odd at all that you are thinking Christmas shopping.  I am already pestering my nieces for gift lists for their kids.  I have A LOT of nieces, nephews and greats to buy for, so shopping takes me a couple of months.  I am already preparing.  I went to a holiday open house this weekend at one of my favorite stores and bought a bunch of new ornaments and seasonal candles.  See?  Preparing.

QOTD:  Oh yes, I have reverted to pre-surgery behavior on more occasions then I would like to admit.  Everything from cooking more food than I couple possibly eat before it spoils, to buying things that I know I should never eat.  The worst was when I got home from a trip recently.  I was hungry and there was no food in the house.  I ordered a pizza, which is a classic trigger food for me.  I took two bites and knew it was a very, very bad mistake.  I immediately took it outside and threw the whole thing in the trash.  Old behaviors die hard, but at least I regained my senses before I did real damage.

Time Since Surgery:  23+ months

B:  Egg Beater, mozzarella and bacon omelette

S:  Hard boiled egg mashed with a little canola mayo

L:  1/2 of salad I bought yesterday for lunch (spinach, romaine, ham, egg, tofu, beet shreds, grilled veggies with Trader Joe's Sriracha dressing)

S:  Chicken Fajitas innards

D:  Trader Joe's Sweet Chili Thai Veggie Burger, fried egg and wild mushrooms

Totals:  Calories 850, Carbs 36, Protein 77

Keep the faith my friends!

 Height: 5'7".  HW: 299, Program starting weight: 290, SW: 238, CW 138 - 12 pounds under goal!

Right on the duvet!! And I change my duvet covers all the time too, with the seasons basically!  And I have to say I have never met a person with a "linen" addiction, would love to see your linen closet one day  LOL  Ok glad I a not the only one who gets Christmas shopping early, and yes you have a big family to buy for so better get started girl!

OMG PIZZA, its suck a trigger food for me too. I just can't have it in the house. But I totally get you on the just got home from a trip, no food and needed something comforting.  Good for you for walking it out to the trash!  That's gutsy girl!

Your dinner sounds yummy!  Enjoy!

QOTD: I'm still early out and haven't done that yet. However I can't say that my mind doesn't try to play those tricks on me!

I've been on stall now for about  2 1/2 weeks and I'm really frustrated(deep breath LOL!).

B: 3oz premier protein drink, 1/2 egg, 1/2 turkey sausage patty

L: 2 1/2 oz turkey breast, low fat cheese stick

D: 2 oz WLS friendly white chicken chili, cherry pepper

Cals:566, Carbs: 35, Fat: 21, Protein: 59

I may eat more protein with dinner to get my total up for the day.

Stalls happen and you just have to ride it out my friend. You are doing awesome and your menu looks great. I know its hard and its easy for me to say"wait it out" but trust me the weight loss will start up soon very soon!!

Yes do try and get more protein if you can, 59 is low, this early out aim for 75 if you can.  But great menu, great stats and you are doing really awesome!!! Glad you have you on the boards my friend!
