What's on your Menu today (Wednesday) RNYers?

Good morning Menu munchers! How is everyone? It's cold & windy here today going to a big old high of 7 degrees (43F), yes it's hat, scarf and mitten weather! What's everyone's plans for the weekend? We have a 2 yr old bday party to go to, one of my little cousins and I need to take our big King size duvet to the laundromat, it's time to haul the baby out, Daisy is cold! And I want to start on my Christmas shopping, yes I said it! But you know when you want that specific gift for someone and you have to search for it, so hence starting now.
QOTD: Have you done anything post surgery that was really a "pre surgery" behaviour? So what I mean is have you gone grocery shopping and loaded up your cart with things you know will make you sick? Have you been in a restaurant and ordered way too much food, the old "eyes are bigger than your stomach (pouch for us)" kind of thing. For me yesterday at work I went to the Tim Hortons coffee place to get myself a coffee (it's the Canadian equivalent of Dunkin Donuts) and the lady in front of me ordered a cheese tea biscuit toasted with butter & jam. I have no idea what came over me but I ordered that too!!! It just sounded so yummy! And it was like I was standing outside of my body and saying "you know you won't eat that why are you spending money on it?" I got back to my desk with my coffee & tea biscuit and was mad at myself. I let my old behaviours take over and totally bought food I knew I was not going to eat. Lucky for me I walked up to my boss and said "oh got this for you while I was downstairs." She loved it and ate it right away. Crisis averted what what the hell Daze!!! Why? I will tell you why, they operate on our stomachs not our minds, my old behaviours are still there and I fight them daily!!
