Surgery update!!!
Had surgery Monday 11/7/16. Went in with knowing I would have para esophageal hernia repair with the possibility of having either the VSG or RNY if the doctor didn't have to use mesh. Was told if he had to use mesh that he wouldn't do the wls at the same time, but give me time to heal from the hernia repair and do my wls later. Great news I woke up to having the VSG :) along with my hernia repair. So very happy!!! Minimal pain right now. I want to thank everyone for all the encouraging words and advice! No better place to come for help and encouragement..... Finally on the loser bench :))))))))
