Karen!! What a wicked awesome NSV!  We must see these boots?  Does your Dad take orders? LOL  Please take a pic for us, they sound amazing and I am so happy for you, funny how it all turned out so positive, love that!

How interesting you have two sisters who had RNY?  Have you told your sister who is still overweight about OH and checking out the menu board? Maybe she can get back on track and get some menu ideas to help her out? Just a suggestion.  Oh my on what your Grandmother said, I mean what is the point of pointing out the obvious?  Not attacking your Gran specifically but anyone who would say that, just keep your opinions to yourself people.  My Mother has no clue on what a "filter" is,  but that's a topic for another day right LOL LOL

YAY on you liking the tuna & balsamic, its the bomb right!!!!  I need to buy stock in Clover Leaf tuna and Kraft Balsamic dressing, for real!

Your lunch sounds amazing, I love catfish and love hot sauce!!!

Tell us about your Vitamin problems?  What are you choking down? Anything I/we can help with?

Good for you on the ran a mile, girl when I was pre surgery I could not move a muscle let alone run a mile, WOW Karen, awesome job!

I posted a picture in response to Pam's reply.  They are awesome and super comfy.

Yes, both sisters have had RNY.  The one who is still overweight likes to drink her calories, and any mention of getting help is prohibited...but that's a different story.  I just don't go there because she's not in the right place right now.  Someday, maybe, I hope!

Vitamin problems....I'm trying to get rid of all of these dang multivitamins that I have that aren't chewable or drinkable.  I bought a 90 day supply last time I was out, and didn't realize that I would be needing chewable vitamins....or I would have bought them instead.  Actually, I didn't imagine that I would be having surgery so soon, so I didn't even think about getting something that would work later on.

I have a terrible gag reflex.  Seriously...I gag when brushing my teeth!  So, I am gagging on them and choking them down because I'm too cheap to waste them and go for a drinkable or chewable vit.

the boots are freaking AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW JUST WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Understood on your sister, sorry to hear that and we will just leave it at that.

I too have a very strong gag relfex and when I brush my back teeth I gag. I switched to the PatchMD and I LOVE THEM!! I got sick of taking vitamins as well.  Don't torture yourself, give them away or give them to the kids or hubby or use a pill splitter if you can and take them in "pieces" if you have to. But seriously consider the PatchMD, nothing by mouth and its easy peasy!

GOOD LUCK!

I actually looked into the PatchMD iron patch.  I think I'm going to give them a try!!!

I know right Kelly, I was so tired last night, like at 7pm I wanted to just put my head down and fall asleep on the couch!

Glad you have not had to go through the "shaming" thing, its pretty horrible.

Are you rested from your race this weekend? How is the rash?

Have a great one!

I'm feeling pretty good. Thighs are sore today but the chaffing from the sports bra isn't bugging me at all (aside from when I shower!). Thanks for asking.

Hope you're day has been great.

Good morning Daisy and menu crew.

I have a job interview today. I have worked at the same place for 27 years, this new job is for a Senior buyer at a company in my hometown. I have had a 2 hour round trip drive for 27 years. I am not able to think about having a 5 minute Bike ride to work. Please wish me luck.

QOTD - I have always felt that people who throw stones have many insecurities about themselves and I feel for them. That being said, I am old school. I can tell you that I popped more than one kid in the mouth that tried to bully me or shame me, it took only a couple of times for people to realize I would not take it. I remember it like it was yesterday. I am also the type that will NOT sit idly by and let others be taken advantage of or bullied in front of me. I will try to do the right thing. I find that if you can intervene and get people to think about their actions, they reconsider and cooler heads prevail. I can tell that you and Arun are the same Daisy. I think you had no choice but to let your MIL know that she was wrong.

B - 2 eggs

S - peanuts and caramel apple pie yogurt

L - Chicken Piccatta

S - Cheese - sargento, garlic herb sticks ( love em)

D - Baked cod in garlic butter

Stay Healthy my friends. Mike
