I hope your sinus headache is just Fall allergies and not that nasty cold going around, feel better.
I know you like Tim Horton's Coffee D, you should get yourself the Tim's Kcups for your Keurig, easy peasy and don't have to worry about only one cup left LOL
You make a good point about shaming in general is prevalent in our society, not just of the obese but like you said minorities, persons with disabilities or anyone different, it makes my heart hurt.
Have a great day off!
I'm loving these bright mornings but not so much the dark 5pm's. I did sleep early last night, but my side effects from lexapro kept me up last night for a bit, and then the baby woke up with a stuffy nose which my husband and I had to take care of, so I woke up late this morning.
QOTD: In many asian cultures, its not socially acceptable to be MO, and being Filipino, the generations above me don't have a filter so fat-shaming happens a lot, many times of which was directed in my way, having a sister and cousins who are all slim to average. Even when I was just overwieght in my early 20's, i'd get annoying questions like "don't you ever go running?" or "is it that you eat and eat and you dont know how to stop." It really sucks, but what can you do, really?

its still dark when I get up and the sun is just coming up when I get into work we have different schedules LOL LOL
I was actually thinking of you last night (I know I am weird) and was going to ask you how therapy is going and if you feel the meds are starting to take effect/help? I hope so, fingers crossed!
Oh I hope your little does not get sick, I don't have kids but I have lots of friends who do and that's all I hear from them all Fall/Winter is the sick little kids and how hard it is on them. Hope he feels better soon!
Sorry you have had to hear those things over the years, how crappy is that, no one needs to hear that. Well now you can eat less than all of them and show them what a picture of good health looks like, take that family! LOL
Great menu achelle! Look at those protein numbers, yahoo! Do take it easy at your boot-camp you are just shy of 3 months don't want you pulling something! But have fun!
You're so sweet, Daisy! thank you!
Talk about opposing schedules! It actually is dark when I get up, but when i'm leaving for work it's bright as hell, lol.
Thank you for thinking of me! Therapy is going great and my meds are doing well for me. I am growing to be more positive about everything each day. I think i'm just being too hard on myself because i expect 100% perfection (like one day i'm going to wake up and be fully accepting and ready to take on the WLS world!), which my therapist says isn't what I should shoot for (I just saw her so its fresh on my mind). It's a process and i'm learning to adjust to the WLS lifestyle slowly. I also give credit to these boards. I read everyone's posts to see what life is like post WLS and give myself things to look forward to.
Logan's been sporting a cold (cough and runny nose) for 3 days. Im hoping it doesn't escalate into something else.
It'll be interesting to see extended family next time. They wont have much to say to me moving forward, i guess, hahah.
Don't worry about me takiing it rough in class. The instructor knows I had RNY and he's very supportive and lets me take the low impact side and as many breaks as i need. Everyone's been really great.

QOTD: Haven't had a specific situation- but earlier this year i did a 5k race with a gal that has lost 150 pounds and is SMO. She did very well and finished but I noticed a guy giving her stink eye like she shouldn't be there. I could see the disgust in his eyes. It pissed me off to no end.
Amazing! Congrats on getting to your goal!
