Enjoy your day with your awesome kids, I hope you do something fun!!  Christmas decorating or starting your shopping early maybe?

Look at you go girl, 168.4?  I guess I know have to say you are rapidly on your way to the 150s!!! Awesome!

Sorry forgot to answer you yesterday about Miralax. I find it I am not "on top of it" meaning I have to take it daily and if I stop for a day or two I am back to square one where I have to wait a few days for it to kick in again!  You eat super low fat, I see you have ribeye and cheese on your menu, that added fat might help you go or with your grilled chicken have a side of avocados' or guacamole (if you like it) or add in a handful of nuts with your babybel. Fingers crossed you get some relief.

Oh my when I read that your FIL was that way it made my heart hurt!! Why are people so cruel?  I am glad you and your family don't have to endure that crap anymore!

Keep up the awesome work DG!!

Good morning,

voted first thing this morning, such as it was.

QOTD: I cannot think of a time when someone said something to me. Of course, I've been used to some teasing my whole life, but have taken it in the spirit which it was meant...I've never felt it was mean hearted, although perhaps thoughtless. I see more of a difference now in people taking me more seriously and noticing me. So I know that it's real.

B- premier chocolate protein-HOT

S- chobani flip

L- not sure, out with boss

D- 2/3 c chili

S- cheddar cheese stick

Protein- should be around 80, cals will be around 700

*Have a great day!

Me too Chassibi, I am treated so differently at work and it makes me ill that now certain people (mostly Doctor's & Surgeons cuz you know how they are) that NOW treat me like human being and actually acknowledge me when before when I was MO they literally walked past me and would not even nod and say hello.  Oh yes its real and its horrible.

Any news from your interview last week?  I have been thinking about that!  Fingers crossed.

How do you warm up your Premier chocolate shake?

I warm mine in the microwave, you just can't let it boil or it will curdle.  I have mine hot every morning with coffee and Torani sf syrup.  either chocolate or vanilla.  Yum-my.

voted back in September so I could wash my hands of it - although it's been impossible to avoid it.  I'll be SO HAPPY tomorrow morning when it's finally over!!  (that is...if people don't start suing each other...UGH!!!  This has been a freaking nightmare!!)

QOTD:  I've heard a lot of fat shaming, but not that I can recall since surgery - I mean none that I've personally witnessed

btw - thanks to all for the big tip on Trader Joe's turkey meatballs.  They are wonderful and a life saver on days when I get to late afternoon and realize I've already had more calories than I counted on.  I'll skip the planned-on dinner and just pop two or three of those in the microwave instead.  Low calorie (50 kcal each) and *super* filling!!  They stay with me all evening!!

17 months out:

B:  Chobani pumpkin yogurt, 1 T Kashi Cinnamon Crisp  (I've decided I prefer the regular Kashi Crunch granola)

S:  coffee with half & half, skinny protein pumpkin latte

L:  1 C cottage cheese, baby carrots

D:  either 1 C chili or some turkey meatballs!!!

exercise:  maybe TRX

I am going to have to check out these meatballs! I used to love the regular varities in SAMS and places like that... but since surgery, they taste rubbery to me (fillers?) or something...

Maybe the TJ ones will be better!!!

Glad you have not witnessed the fat shaming in real life, its sucks to witness it/have it done to you.

Glad you like the TJs meatballs. I remember when I was first post op and Dcgirl (Emily) used to post all these amazing food & recipes she got from TJs, and I would be jealous as we don't have TJs in Canada, maybe someday LOL  So enjoy!

Have a great day!

I have been around people that have talked about others who should lose weight. I usually walk away from people like that. If they were making fun of someone I think I would lose my **** and stand up for the person who they were making fun of.

B:Yogurt with some homemade apple sauce I figured I could make the yogurt I like instead of trying to hunt it down in the store

L:Pork roast

D:Turkey meatloaf

S:Coffee/ Going walking this morning it is chilly but nice.

I had to come back and edit this. I know I would say something to someone if I heard them fat shaming someone in a group. I know I would.

Now my mother talking about my father yesterday saying he is so fat and eats like a pig. I didn't say much. I did just say to her you know mom he is a food addict.
