What's on your Menu today (Tuesday) RNYers?

My surgeons office shares the waiting room lobby with an endocrinologist's office and one time when I was in there there was an older man who was being really inappropriate to people who were there for WLS. I've blocked the details now, but I remember being super upset about seeing the fat shaming happening, especially to people who were clearly there to move past the weight problems.

your story made me think how at my WLS centre you go into this big waiting room that obviously has pre and post op people in it waiting for appts.  You walk up to the desk to register and let them know you are there and since I have been at my goal weight I KNOW I can FEEL the DAGGERS of the SMO & MO people in the waiting room looking at me like "what the hell are you doing here skinny chick??" I want to turn around and yell "Good people of the WLS waiting room, I am 3 years post op, I was where you were once, stop giving me cut eye!!!" but of course I just go and sit in a corner and wait for my name to be called.

I am about to run out of my "Go Picnic" stash, I need to hit Target sometime in the future!!!

Dinner sounds yummy, I am coming over to your place after I hit Pat R's for venison pastrami LOL

Morning DD2. Here's hoing that all the election crap will be over today. And I dislike it geing dark so early. It feels like 10pm when it's only 6.

QOTD. I've never seen someone fat shamed in person. I have seen people looking and staring, but not anything overt.

I can never understand how anyone can be so obviously and painfully cruel to someone, whether it concerns obesity or anything else.

Getting up in the dark and coming home from work in the dark sucks, plain and simple!  

I am right there with you Grim, I don't understand people like that either, poo poo on them, hopefully they get a lump of coal from Santa this year!

Good morning menu friends! Today the kids are out of school and we are going to have a play day. I am very excited. 

Time since surgery 8 months 168.4 this morning 

QOTD- Fat shaming is a butthole!!!! My FIL was the worlds worse. That's all I will say about that. There's no love lost. 

B- 8 oz Unsweetened Almond Cashew milk with 1 scoop of Syntrax 

L-  2 oz Grilled Chicken with 1 tsp of salad to make a small salad 

D-  2 oz Ribeye 

S- Cheddar Babybel

My FIL asked why his other DIL got so snippy and I didn't.  My answer "she probably has more self-respect" didn't mean a thing to him.

Oh yea nothing phased this man. He thought everyone should fit into a size 8 mold.
