I just hate eating

Just speaking for myself, I am glad that my stomach is this unsettled for the Holidays. It will keep me from "tasting" everything I cook this year. Maybe by next year I will have gotten used to my new habits and even if my stomach permits food that I shouldn't eat, I won't be tempted.
I actually planned it so I'd still be kinda "healing" over the worst time of the year for eating bad stuff.
At work, my catch phrase is, sorry just had surgery, can't eat that! It already got me off of judging the chili cook off lol. My team kept all the candy waaaay away from my office just because they understood how ucky my stomach has been since surgery.

I am four weeks post op and feel the same exact way. i cant find anything i can tolerate since last week. everything causes pain... doc sid its normal... how is this normal..
I get that when I eat too fast and don't take tiny bites (jelly bean sized) and chew it to mush before swallowing. In the beginning I didn't understand why my team insisted that I should make each meal last thirty minutes and that I should put down my fork between bites. When I follow the instructions, it is much better.
On the other hand, chicken, for some reason just defies me. I think it may be just a tad too dry for this method for me. I like juicy meat. To solve the problem with my chicken, I run it though the food processor after I weigh out my portion. And I add either some mayo or a couple of tablespoons of chicken or vegetable broth. Then, I'm fine.
