Good morning Daisy and menu friends , I had a fantastic weekend . The concert we went to Friday night was so much fun . We danced all night long , my husband loves to dance . Me, not so much . I never would have wanted to go out let alone dance without losing all this weight . Was also my Father in laws 81 st birthday yesterday . We had the family over for a big lazagna dinner . I made 24 cupcakes and a cake . I let the 4 grandchildren ice everything cause it's the icing that I loved . Happy to say I didn't feel tempted . 

QOTD : The food that I can't have in the house is chips , doritoes and crackers . I did buy chips for the party but in the past I would have got them at Costco and had lots left . I just had regular size and there was none left thank goodness . .

Menu 

B 1 hard boiled egg , 1 chicken nibbler 

L Protein Drink and PB2 

D 1 / 2 cup of lazagna no noodles 

S 3 / 4 cup of plain Greek yogurt 

Totals 619 calories  81 grams of protein

QOTD: I'm surprisingly okay with sweets and seem to be able to ignore them with a lot more steely strength than I would have imagined I would. But popcorn & chips are things I try not to test. I will eat an entire bag of either one without even realizing it. Smartfood is my kryptonite.

S: 2 Babybel and Almonds

L: turkey slices on cran thin addictives and laughing cow wedge

S: Fage Blueberry acai 

D: probably ham?

my husband is addicted to that Fage Blueberry Acai!!

 

I bought some of your Chobani Flip pumpkin the other day.  Thought I'd have it for dessert at Thanksgiving (if it sticks around that long.....)

I like the Fage in all flavors a lot. Cherry is my fav--tastes like cheesecake! The Chobanis are more of a seasonal treat for me. The carbs and sugars are higher, and they leave me less satisfied.

I used to eat Fage yogurt all the time pre-surgery.  I think I'll go back to it.  It's great - and the richness keeps me satisfied.  I like Chobani as well, but they seem to be taking over the world.  The Fage section at a lot of the stores around here is now microscopic - Chobani is crowding them out of existence.  Boo!!!!

White cheddar smartfood popcorn. Dear Lord--thank goodness we have a lot of people at our house, so it's gone quickly.

OMG I didn't even think of Smartfood, I could eat large bags of that with no problem before surgery!

Good Monday morning menu friends! This weekend was amazing.  It was warm and we had fun.  I got tons of walking in.  Now I am sitting in Chick Fil A in my normal cozy booth beside the window because I am freezing this morning.  I have found if I come here in the mornings their wifi works faster than my phone and I can get my homework done without the "calls of duty" bothering me at home.  Daisy I love the Protein hot chocolate.  I tried it the other day and it's my favorite. 

 

Time since surgery 8 months weight this morning 168.8. Miralax is not helping right now.  I am taking it twice a day.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  

 

QOTD- Two things that can not be in my house is cake icing (rainbow chip) and spaghetti.  Before WLS I would buy two or more tubs of icing a week and sit there and eat them at night after everybody went to sleep.  Not to hide but because that was my quiet time and I so loved it.  The next is spaghetti.  Dear Baby Jesus it is still my favorite.  If I make the spaghetti sauce and add my meat I will usually over eat and keep adding after I have my portion measured out.  I have decided it is not worth it.  My family is good with it.  They said Mama whatever you need to do to stay skinny.  Bless them they were probably sick of my shoveling down their throats lol.

 

B- 8 ox Unsweetened Almond Cashew milk with 1 scoop Syntrax

 

L- 2 oz. Grilled Chicken 

 

D- 2 oz. Crockpot Roast with peppercinis 

 

S- Something meat

spaghetti is one of the few foods I truly miss.  I used to *really* overdo it because I loved it so much.  I flat-out refuse to make it anymore...
