What's on your Sunday menu, RNYers?
Mornin' all!
QOTD: Only 2 clocks in the house are manual. It is crazy to think that our lives could be hacked into by simple appliances like a toaster oven!!! I like the change in DST made a few years back. Shorter period of Standard time. We change the clocks back and I start to prepare for the holidays. Then in March, when I'm sick of Winter, we spring forward, and I get excited for Spring. Maybe simple reasoning, but it works for me!

I don't like it getting dark earlier, but I LOVE the extra light in the morning! I couldn't stand getting up when it was pitch black outside. When I was younger, I wished we were on Daylight Saving Time all year long, but now that I'm old and get up early, I think the time changes exactly when it needs to!
QOTD: all of our clocks are manual except for our laptops and phones. We have a clock radio next to our bed, clocks on our microwave and stove, and the clocks in the cars. I changed them all last night except for the ones in the cars.
I've overdone it the last few days (not by much, but still, I didn't like the direction I was taking), so I'm really going to try to stick to basics for awhile
17 months out
B: L&F vanilla coconut, 10 raspberries, 1 T Kashi Crunch granola
S: I'm going to try making a skinny pumpkin latte - but even skinnier than before (I bought some SF Torani brown sugar & cinnamon syrup last night - couldn't find the pumpkin spice, but at least it'll work for sweetness. I can add some extra (dry) spices to make it taste more pumpkin-y)
L: either chili or leftover pork/veggie stir fry (no rice)
D: pork chop, cole slaw with miso-sesame vinaigrette, maybe a T of sweet potato casserole
probably another Greek yogurt or a frozen pumpkin pop
Morning JB!
I've been on my run and am showered dressed and made breakfast. I'm in my fuzzy socks and fleece lined leggings-- comfort is the name of the game today! I have a few errands to run- but if I don't the world won't end.
Qotd: my microwave and stove need to be bagged manually. My son has an alarm clock I'll have to adjust for him too.

Good morning JB &
QOTD: microwave, stove and bedside clock. Maybe car, I forgot. Hate daylight savings time. It gets dark waaay too early.
B: Premier Protein chocolate with coffee and Torani pumpkin pie
L: tbd
D: tbd
I have to go shopping and buy ham, a steak, and other protein so I can ramp up my dense protein program.
JB: I am experimenting with oumpkin pie ice cream today. I have looked and looked for a low carb AND low cal option, there are not any that fill both requirements. So, my experiment is this: vanilla sf pudding mix, canned pumpkin, Torani sf pumpkin pie syrup, and cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Mix of greek nonfat plain yogurt with water for the liquid. Will report back.
Edited to add: if you add a tablespoon of alcohol (vodka, or rum, or ...) the ice cream will not freeze so hard.
