I am 11 weeks out and feel no hunger and never feel full.  I hope it stays this way forever!  I eat my measured portion and that's it.  Nothing bothers my pouch either, but I have had something get stuck twice and I can tell you that is HORRIBLE!  So chew chew chew!    Good Luck!

I would say, so far, you are perfectly average. Most people have no issues, and experience the same things as you.

Many of us srart wondering if we had surgery at all. Maybe we were in a placebo group? Then, one day we fail to chew something quite well enough. Or eat just a little bit too fast. And you'll get sick as a dog. A know for sure you had surgery. Happens to most of us.

Keep measuring, and stop eating when you hit your amount, regardless of how you feel. That's really, really important.

I didn't want to say it but yes, I was feeling like I was the placebo!  :)

Me too. Then I let my guard down, just a little, and it bit me right on the ass.

I felt like, 'Oh this is easy' when I was at that stage too. Transitioning to solid foods was much more challenging. My mantra for that was- keep it moist - small bites, chew well. A little broth, gravy, condiment...use the crockpot whatever goes a long way when you transition to solids... Enjoy the easy while it is there...

What s great question. I was also feeling like I had placebo surgery. I'm only one week out and feel hungry.  I eat my portions, I know I can eat more. But I am sticking to the plan.

I'm still feeling great!  How about you?

I feel great as well. I'm not experiencing the tiredness that some people have. Have you started the purée stage?  I can start Friday, and am looking forward to it.

How are you doing so far?

I'm doing great!  I'm 18 days in.  I'm mostly puree but I did have a small piece of Talapia last night, chewed really well and no problems.  I'm having a scrambled egg every morning and no issues there either.  I've also had ground chili and lean beef stew.  I just started greek yogurt with little chunks of fruit (Dannon Lite and fit Greek). If I chew really well, I'm having no issues.

Tell me how your puree went!

I felt the same way. The feeling of full/not full started at about week 8 for me as the nerves healed. Now I can feel it very clearly, it just took some time.
