Day of Surgery/What surgeon?

Hi!   I love this forum! This is my first post, I have been reading for a week. I will have my consultation with Dr. Jeffery Genaw (Detroit) in 11 days. 

I have 2 questions:

1)  Anyone have Dr. Genaw?

2)  What was your day of surgery like and next couple of days?

Day or surgery went like this:

areuve at hospital, change, get weighed, and pregnancy test. Anesthesia placed the line, surgeon & 1st assistant greeted me, then off to the OR. Sleepy time for me. Woke up a few hours later feeling like I had a tummy tuck-- abdomen felt tight- and was obviously swollen. Was on a pain med drip. Drank the following morning with no issue-- walked slowly but well. Went home, got established on a schedule to 'eat', drink and take meds. Pain was tough initially- but keep moving and it doesn't consume you. 

Pretty much identical for me. The only difference was every team member came and introduced themselves to me individually. Anesthesiologist, resident anesthesiologist. Surgeon. Surgical fellow. Surgical nurse. A different nurse. Seriously felt like I was at some kind of medical mixer haha.
