Good morning! I'm personally really happy that it's the weekend, even though I've got a lot to do (including work I brought home). This morning I'm meeting up with two friends at IKEA. One just separated from her husband, sadly, but that means she's there to buy everything, which is kind of fun.

QOTD: I know what's inside your fridges...what's on the outside? Are you a purist with nothing or is it covered with stuff? I just took everything off mine because it was SO cluttered. I used to teach elementary school and I had lots of little things from my students that made me laugh, as well as coupons I never used, stamps, photos, quotes, and a million magnets.

B: Fit Frappe Protein + Ham & Egg

S: Chobani Flip yogurt

L: I usually get two hotdogs at IKEA but there is some cooking even with chefs today so maybe I'll do something else!

S: almonds and babybel cheese

D: dunno yet!

Have a great day, everyone!

Morning!

i live really close to an ikea, so it's a fun spot to meet friends, and help them spend their money ;)

qotd: I remove stuff seasonally, but it usually has thank you cards, or invitations, photos we've received etc. Also the printed schedules for the YMCA, magnets from trips we've been on, and a calendar. I went back to paper for planning. So much better for me .

menu:

well im off to ladies weekend, so some things will be wait and see. I'm sure from what I've seen of the menu, there will be lots of protein forward options.

B:chocolate protein shake with powdered peanut butter (I'm seriously hooked)

L:tbd

D:tbd

have a great weekend everyone!

Morning menuers. I love Saturday mornings.

I think the only thing on my fridge is a magnetic notepad. There used to be more crap, but I was always knocking crap off carrying stuff to the basement. No more fridge clutter.

Happy Saturday Menu Peeps!

QOTD:  Pictures and magnets.  (See photo).  The photo in the middle is of our car when it burst into flames a few years ago and burned to nothing left but a metal shell!  The kids are Saralisa and nieces and nephews.  Each item has special meaning to me.  My favorite quote from Emily Dickensen is up there as well as a quote I love that says, "The mother of a little girl knows the sweetest love in the world."  The scrabble tile magnets I made myself.

My menu for today:

B:  Crepe w/ peaches, cream cheese, cool whip

L:  Lettuce, spinach, chicken, bacon, cheese, cranberries & nuts, low cal dressing

D:  Chili

S:  Light n Fit Greek yogurt

S:  Watermelon

Exercise:  Walking the dogs around the subdivision.  (Walked them twice yesterday!)

Have a FANTASTIC day everyone!

OK- No swedish metballs at Ikea???? What? Have fun!

QOTD: I have a stainless steel fridge so nothing sticks to it. I do have a coloring page taped to it sent to me by my DIL that my grandson painted. She always writes the commentary on the side that he is saying while creating. It is a picture of a crocodile and this one says "This is for Ama because she likes crocodiles" hahahaha...

Small update: Only thing I know on my grand niece is they took her out of ICU yesterday, so I guess that means she is recovering OK from surgery.

Saw this on FB today and thought it was funny considering the daily mental dialogue I have with myself concerning this crazy life we have:

B: Coffee/fairlife/miralx   spaghetti squash omelette

L: Out with friend- not sure. She had WLS too...so shouldn't be damgerous

D: Finally going to make the rib-eye I keep posting, spinach

Snacks: PB on celery, Chocolate chai latte, yogurt

B:  Greek yogurt with added protein powder, 1 T Kashi Cinnamon Crisp granola

S:  coffee with half & half, homemade "skinny" protein latte

L:  antipasto salad (the lasagna I'll bring home or give to my husband.  Garlic bread and tiramisu will definitely go to my husband)

D:  pork chop, a tablespoon of stuffing and a tablespoon of sweet potato casserole (left over from Thanksgiving last year!!  It's been in my freezer forever.  If it's way past it's prime, it's going in the trash...)
