This is is what is front and center on my mind and heart this week. So this is the picture that makes me happy and sad at the same time. Happy because I love them dearly, my niece and her precious 10 year old twin daughters, sad because of what they are going through. No new news. Can I say it is hard dealing with brothers sometimes? LOL...Not the best communicators always...
QOTD: Routine is absolutely my friend. While I plan my menu everyday- so I have thought out what I am doing and what I have available... I often change it. Life happens as the day progresses, and maybe I am not at the place or situation I thought was going to be at a given meal...but I never get stuck with 'what am I supposed to have?" or 'what's for dinner?' Oh yeah- because there is a plan.
Recent change- instead of bringing a protein bar or Premier protein as an 'emeergency snack' for out and about, bringing hard boiled eggs and babybel cheese- real food and they are OK without being refrigerated for awhile. I pre-peel the eggs and put them in a sandwich bag with a little salt and pepper already sprinkled on them. And of course babybel come in their perfect little wrappers. SO easy to travel with.
B: coffee/fairlife/miralax egg/ low carb tortilla roll up
L: Tuna, vinegrettte
D: Rib eye
Snacks- yogurt, chai latte, peanut butter.
