my dad's hanging in there. If hospice had told me last week that he was starting the dying process, I would have stayed 'til the end, but so far, he isn't. We could get "the call" next week or Thanksgiving weekend or the middle of December - no way to know. So I felt I had to come back to my life here - I'd been away for a month and it was just time. Thanks for asking!!
Love the picture of your grandmother, and hearing the story as well. WW2 was such a crazy time for our families. So many stories, time away and uncertainty. I am glad to hear you have great memories of your grandmom!
Good morning Daisy and menu crew. My youngest son Ryley is playing in a Hockey tourney this weekend and I am a Coach on the team, we will be very busy.

I used to drive myself crazy and I have had great peace of mind since I stopped. My clothes feel the same, so I am confident I am not gaining or losing. Pic is 4 generations of Duffy's, this was taken in 1969. I was 8 months old when the pic was taken. My Dad is holding me, my Great grandfather is in the middle and my grandfather was on the right. My Dad and grandfather were Veterans. My Dad in Vietnam and Grandfather fought in 5 major battles in WW2. I was very close to my grandfather and think of him daily. He died before my great grandfather. It bothers me to this day to think that he made it through WW2 and then died young, but...I have so many fond memories.
Amazing photo! I love that all 4 generations captured. what a great share!
