It is true. I have never heard my brother so undone as when he called to tell me about the accident. His daughter and granddaughters... while sometimes men have a hard time expressing emotions, the rivers still run deep.

QOTD:  I also think more routine would help me because so much of my life has seemed out of control the last few months.  Right now my routines are weighing myself as soon as I get up and logging my menu plans for the day in here soon afterward.  I'm also a stickler about logging my food intake as soon as humanly possible after I eat it.

17 months out

B:  L&F vanilla coconut yogurt with added protein powder, 10 raspberries, 1 T Kashi Crunch granola

S:  coffee with half & half, protein shake

L:  cottage cheese and baby carrots

D:  going out with a board I'm on.  I'm thinking either the roasted salmon with lentils or else soup & salad

probably another Greek yogurt

 

This was one of the 17-months-post-surgery photos my husband took of me last night.  This photo makes me happy because I actually look skinny (that is, after cropping out my spare tire - which at this point is probably more excess skin than excess fat...)

thanks!  And yes I do feel amazing!  I'm now within five pounds of a normal BMI - and I'm going to do it!  I don't think I've ever been at a normal BMI in my life!!
