where did you see you weight loss first?
good morning RNY'ers ... I know everyone is different but when you first began to loose weight, where did you notice it first ... face, abdomen, arms, etc. also, how much did you loose before you could tell a difference?

For most pele, it seems to take a good 50 or 60 pounds before they go down a size or see much of a difference.
6'3" tall, male.
Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.
M1 -24; M2 -21; M3 -19; M4 -21; M5 -13; M6 -21; M7 -10; M8 -16; M9 -10; M10 -8; M11 -6; M12 -5.
Weirdly enough, it's been my feet! I didn't see that coming so early.(this was by week 4, I think I was down 45 ish) I'm only 8 weeks out, and have had to replace some footwear.
the other area is face and my upper body. bras have been replaced . Tops are down a size.
Bottoms aren't down a size quite yet, but fitting properly. I'm down 65 ish at this point

I noticed first in my face, I was down about 15 pounds and just was brushing my teeth and was like "hey" LOL then it was my belly I started taking pictures every month same clothes and spot because I could see it in picture but not always in the mirror, which oddly I still have that issue.

Apparently my face and back. I had no idea I had that much fat on my back, but that's where it came off first. Strange thing, 9 years ago when I lost 50lbs and got down to 179, my weight loss was different. I guess I just assumed it would be the same, but it hasn't been.
Pictures are so helpful to see the difference. It did take me about 50lbs before I could see a huge change in most of my clothes, but it started going fast after that!

For me, it was my face, feet, and torso. I also dropped a lot in my middle which is where i carry most of my weight. I'm swimming in my pants from 2 months ago.
