those piggies are the cutest things ever! And being that I am a city girl I didn't even notice that your "barn is messy and it needs a concrete floor!" LOL
I love your jacket story! Any NSV, small or big is special, you are doing great pre op! keep up the great work! You will be on the losers bench before you know it!
I have a sister than went from ranch/farm life to city life. She always loves to go to the barn when she is at my house...until she gets out there and the pens haven't been cleaned yet. I think it's funny.
I always cry at the end of show season, when the barn is empty. This year, though, I think we are going to let the baby boy, he's seven, show summer hogs. Maybe I won't loathe going to the barn during the summer, then!
Thank you about the NSV. It's not the first one, but it's one of the better ones. Best so far is the toenail painting without holding my breath!!! Yeah!

Good morning Daisy & Menu Crew!
QOTD: I am very early out, but I have a strange way of looking at things these days so I see that day in my future very clearly. I hope that I am able to be strong enough to see the "Switch" that Daisy did and realize i did this to myself as well, and that this is my journey. I think right now my problem is, even though i go through the motions of this every day, I haven't fully accepted this as my journey. there's a confession, if there ever is one. Its one of the reasons why I'm in therapy right now. I am optimistic that I am growing to accept it more and more each day, though.

Yum, Korean BBQ chicken stew. Is it a recipe? I am still trying to get chicken that I can tolerate... and love your menu! 105 grams protein!!! You go, girl!
Thanks Cheryl!
I put some chicken thigh filets, onions, and bell pepper into the crockpot with about 1/2 cup of store-bought korean BBQ marinade (it wasnt sugar free, whoops) and 1 cup of water in a crockpot and cooked it on low for 8 hours. It's pretty good, but I cooked a lot and I may need to freeze some because I'm gonna get sick of it pretty quickly.
