What's on your Menu today (Wednesday) RNYers?

Yeah I was thinking about Hummus too. I got an invite for a work party next week Friday. It's at a local Whirlyball place. Not sure if that is a Chicago thing - sort of a cross between rugby, rollerball and riding in bumper cars. I wouldn't play. But I checked the menu and they are having Hummus, so that timing seemed right. Hope I can make the party
Good morning! Daisy you and your tuna with balsamic for breakfast. Bless you. Just smelling it is too much for me.
QOTD: Well I would love to say that I am too new to have had a meltdown but last week I was trying to load a bunch of plants into my car to return to my daughter who is at college. They were heavy and I am supposed to be careful about lifting, and I have terrible arthritis since surgery. After three trips to the car, I just sat down and cried because I can't do any of those things I was used to doing. I thought that a 50-pound loss would feel so great, but as a result of not being able to take arthritis meds I feel so incapacitated. I did suck it up eventually.

Interesting that I see a lot of pork rinds as a menu choice. I never would have thought of those. Can see that profile makes sense when I look them up. I'm sure that item might open some eyes among my family.
Some people use pork rinds as a coating for meat. I use them very sparingly... they are fried and although says it has lot of protein they are just fried fat. I use a very few in recipes and that probably is not the greatest idea.
Fyi - they are not fried fat but fried pork skin.
And ...snik has a lot of collagen. We need that for our joints and skin... And hair and nails..
Since you have arthritis - check study on collagen (gellatin) and joins.
Google that.
Here is one...
