That chicken sounds amazing! Do you make it? I think I need your ideas if you do so I can make it too!

stuffed cranberry chicken?  How did you make that?  Or if you didn't make it, what's in it?  Sounds intriguing

Nope, I didn't make it... A local farm near me sells premade meals with ingredients from the farm, so I grabbed it this weekend. I'll post the ingredients when I'm home tonight!

never thought to look at it as getting an extra hour of sleep, thanks for turning my frown into a smile! LOL LOL And ya for sleeping in (when you can!)

For real your answer is like how did I not think of that... I totally over buy or buy the wrong food when I out by myself at the grocery store. Why do I do that to myself? Its stuff I can't or won't eat!  You are right its a bad cycle.

Good morning Daisy and menu crew. I am not a fan of daylight savings either. Had a great night, ate a little candy...but hey....didn't hurt me and I do not feel like I need more today. I stopped at a couple of pieces, I feel it is important to know your body and mind and adjust accordingly.

QOTD - I feel that I am both. When I am stressed I need to exercise, I will walk at work, I will get busy at home or go to the gym. If I am bored , I need to get moving at home, I will pace until I find something to do. The other day I was bored so I was folding laundry and I do not usually do that....LOL....My wife was happy though. I find as long as I keep moving, the urge to eat passes and I am fine.

B - Protein bar

S - Caramel applie pie yogurt

L - Baked cod in garlic butter

S - Buddig ham and cheese

D - Chili - made a big pot last night!

Exercise - Gym night.

That is really awesome Mike that you can eat a bit of candy and not be tempted to eat more the next day, that's a big win!  And its great you know your body so well.

You and I are quite similar, I need to exercise when I am stressed too, or I get into a cleaning and puttering frenzy LOL  It makes a huge difference for me if I am busy how much I don't need or want to snack or eat.  So glad you are doing so well with all this post WLS "stuff!!"

LOL I bet your wife was happy you were folding laundry, that's a nice treat for her!

Great menu, I am totally jealous of your caramel apple pie yogurt, I have had it and its yummy!

Keep up the great work my friend!

I am an emotional eater for sure--any emotion  makes me want to eat. Happiness,sadness,stress,anger,boredom,just about anything makes me feel the urge to eat. What I do instead is move:clean closets,clean kitchen cupboards,take a walk,garden,read,knit or if all else fails drink a cup of decaf coffee. I've even been known to brush my teeth to get the urge to eat to leAve. Post op 4 years 2 months and weight at 117 today. Lily and I got our 3 plus miles in already ND I am heading to the laundromat next. Here's the food plan for today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 1 c chili and cheese D 31/2 oz chicken 1/2 c broccoli S mission one chocolate chip cookie protein bar .  Have a great day everyone and make some amazing choices !

I do the toothbrushing thing too - cleanest teeth in town! I like your ideas re keeping busy. So many things I enjoy (reading, computer, movies) are sedentary and I'm trying to increase my repertoire on active activities. Cleaning/organizing is something I can do anytime so I could even add in short bursts of that until my endurance/stamina improves.
