What's on your Menu today (Tuesday) RNYers?
Good morning Daisy and menu friends , November 1st . I can't believe it . Where does the time go ?
QOTD : Before surgery I was definitely a stress and boredom eater . I have realized that I can't have chips or doritoes in the house . It just drives me crazy . If it's not here I don't think about it . When the kids are here and I have different snacks for them I'm busy running around after them . I've been buying them either single serve quantities or sending the leftovers home . Don't want to sabotage all of my efforts .
Menu
B 1 hard boiled egg , chicken nibbler
L Protein Drink , pb2
D Turkey Chilli
S Plain Greek yogurt
Totals 571 calories 81 grams of protein
Have a good day everyone

Where does the time go? My Boss and I were chatting today about Christmas vacation, and man oh man its less than two months away!
Its true another poster said the same thing about can't have certain foods in their house, its just trigger foods right, and if its not in the house then you can't eat it! Smart lady on sending the kids home with the extra goodies, and these are all great strategies for having long term WLS success, proud of you Lizz!!
Great menu, awesome numbers, keep up the great work!
Hi all!
crazy busy and mind is racing today trying to get everything ready for tomm. Mom is also coming in today as she is kindly watching the dogs for the week while we are gone and we do not have the pay the dog sitter a mortgage payment to watch them.
I'm a bit grumpy because the scale is acting all kinds of wonky. Usually it is very stable with its movement but this past week it went up 3 pounds, now down two, now up one. SCALE- Why can you just let me see 135 so I can jump up and down and take a picture?? so frustrating!!! Why are you acting like this??
QOTD: I stress and boredom eat! It is worse in the evening. It is almost like I want my stomach to feel a fullness and it is hard.
Today Im having leftovers from the fridge today so that the food doesn't go to waste
B: CM yogurt/chia/egg whites/decaf/unsweet almond milk

Safe travels to NYC tomorrow Hillary! Can't wait to see pics and hear about your trip! I know it must be super frustrating as you are "1" lb from goal but you know you will get there right, I am mean you have done so amazing you just need to get back to your routine. You have been on two back to back trips now and eating while travelling is hard. Hey walking around NYC is going to help you a lot too!
Avoiding evening eating is hard, I know all to well, this is when I struggle!
Have an awesome time, look forward to seeing you back here on the boards when you get back!
Good Morning Everyone!
I don't like Daylight Savings time at all. It gets dark early enough already. The darkness of Winter depresses me anyway. I like light!
QOTD: I'm both a boredom and stress eater. I don't have much stress in my life right now, but I do have a lot of free time and boredom so that's my biggest challenge. I try to watch the clock and make sure enough time has passed since I ate something before I eat anything else. I also try to get busy or go for a walk. Drinking a cup of coffee or more water sometimes helps quench my urge to eat something.
That Halloween candy was calling to me last night and I was seriously tempted to have just one miniature candy bar, but fortunately the trick or treaters cleaned us completely out of candy so the bowl was empty when I went outside to retrieve it. Whew! I just hope no one came and the bowl was empty.
My menu for today:
B: crepe, peaches, cream cheese, cool whip
L: Lettuce, spinach, 2 h.b. eggs, bacon, cheese, low cal dressing
D: chili
S: Light n fit greek yogurt
S: Moon cheese or Mr. Cheese O's
Exercise: Walking the dogs around the subdivision.
Have a wonderful day everyone!
~ Karen
Actually, if you want the extra daylight at the end of the day, what you want is double daylight savings time.

Hope you have lots of extra lights in your house Karen, SAD (seasonal affective disorder) is real and my Mom and Aunt both suffer from it terribly.
So glad to hear you don't have stress, that is awesome, not everyone can say that! To keep yourself busy you should start taking your dogs out for an AM and PM walk, like when the sun comes up and just before the sun goes down, then you are out when its light out and the dogs will it and get extra exercise/fresh air! Win win for all!
Good for you on resisting the candy, that is so awesome! Proud of you Karen!

Hi everyone! Happy November 1st! Crazy! I'm only happy for the daylight savings time because I'm all for getting that extra hour! Well, actually I kind of stole an extra hour this morning...my alarm went off at 4:30am and I just wasn't having it...stayed in bed until 5:30am! Whoops...
QOTD: I'm a stress BUYER and a boredom eater. If I'm stresssed I will go into the grocery store and buy all kinds of crap. But then I don't eat it right away because if the guilt of buying it... it then its there if I'm bored. Bad cycle.
I forgot to weigh myself this morning before I was dressed so I'm not sure if eating more protein worked. I also succumbed to 3 mini candy bars, so that probably didn't help. I'm sticking with the same menu as yesterday, though, with the exception of dinner which will be stuffed cranberry chicken over quinoa. Mmmm.
B: protein coffee and hard boiled egg
S: 1/4 c almonds and 2 babybel cheese
L: Trader Joe's sliced turkey breast, 2 laughing cow Swiss wedges & 4 Wasa crackers
S: Chobani flips pumpkin
D: Stuffed cranberry chicken over quinoa
