Trick or Treat Menu Peeps!!!
Hope everyone had a great weekend! DD2... puppies are adorable!! The black one is giving you that stink eye look, like "Can we please get this over with?!" The brown one looks resigned to the costumes and is just thinking about the treat he deserves afterwards! Hahaha!!
We had a good weekend, but I've been struggling with A LOT of head hunger... we have friends in town, and one of them had RNY 5 years ago... it's hard to sit next to someone that's had the surgery (but has gained 35lbs back), and watch him eat A LOT of food, drink beer (with his meal), eat a bag of popcorn, chips, (and probably 6 bags of my Quest Protein chips hahaha), et****ep thinking I need something every time he gets a snack! I've been pretty good, only snacking on beef jerky - and my dwindling supply of Quest protein chips - BUT, I did have a few glasses of wine over the weekend. I was disappointed in myself because while I planned for the first night, the second night was a last minute decision to have a glass of wine. We went to a place that offered a buffet (and a regular menu), and I was whiny about it, felt myself get pissed inside that everyone was ordering the buffet (not me, though I did eat some of the bread from my BLT that I ordered). I'm just like 'on edge' right now, and it's all centered around food.... On the flip side, today I am wearing a pair of size 12 Daisy Fuentes jeans that I bought 7 years ago... at the time they wouldn't fit, but I was doing that low carb, and was convinced I'd lose more... So it's nice to be wearing some 12's that I've hung on to for so long!
QOTD: Exercise... my nemesis. I walk more. I park in the back of the parking lot everywhere I go. I take walks. I did a 5K (walked mostly, but ran some too)... but nothing formal. My brain wants to... but I can't seem to carve out the time. And I feel guilty that I don't have a more structured exercise routine... maybe soon.
B: 3 pieces of bacon and a decaf americano
L: 5 year anniversary BBQ here at work. Meat, and maybe some beans if they aren't too sweet
D: Something with ground turkey... tacos? (No tortilla for me)
S: beef jerky/quest chips? Maybe neither if I can keep myself in line!

I actually ordered them so he could have some! LOL But I didn't think they'd go quite as fast as they have. He's not doing so great, so I wanted to have some 'new' things that he's never had to maybe show him some new options (rather than the real chips he usually eats). I'm not going to keep things like that in the house though, not regularly. I'll just grab a bag every once in a while for now on. (I accidentally ordered TWO cases of them! Yikes!)
Oh, and the department on the other side of our floor is having a pot luck today... they ahve the kitchen FULL of crap! Thank goodness I'm about to leave for our other office! (donuts, cupcakes, chips and queso, and so many other things!)

Kudos on the size 12. Nothin better! Except maybe 10's haha.
Exercise: I feel you 100%. I have never put "me" first and it's a struggle. For one thing I don't even like exercise. For another, I would have to put off someone else's needs to do it, which at this point, all my kids seem to need me more than ever.
The food: I have had 3 handfuls of peanuts and candy corn so far today. ACK! Someone smack me! I'm done, stick a freaking fork in me. No more candy for Chassidy today.

Yes, 10's... or 8's... 6's... just being in the single syllable is making me happier! Back away from the candy corn! (but wow, what a great sweet/salt combination!)
I haven't trusted myself to taste any sugar/candy... I am afraid it'll make me face dive into more than I need...
I've decided my way to deal with being afraid of gaining/not losing to goal, is by getting pissy/angry about other people's choices... I probably need to work on that ROFL!
