Walking is great, especially early out, its great to clear you head and get fresh air!
I love Kielbasa, in the summer that was one of my go to's all the time. I ate it on the weekends with an egg for breakfast or in the evenings as a snack, its so good on the grill it comes out so crispy and yummy!
Have a great Halloween!
Our town did trick or treat on Saturday but we were at Beaver Dam state park passing out candy to the kids there. The campground was packed and there were way more trick or treaters than we ever have at home. Lily even enjoyed the extra people around too. Post op 4 years 2 months today and weight at 116.8 today. Lily and I already have our 3.2 miles in this morning. Exercise for me is at least 3 miles of walking per day with Lily. When we camp I am sure to get far more than the 3 miles! When the weather is bad I have a treadmill,a recumbent bike and a Jillian Michaels DVD that I sometimes do for variety but I love outdoor exercise the most. Food for today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L c chili with cheese D 31/2 oz ribeye 1/2 c sweet potatoes S mission one chocolate brownie protein bar . Have a great day everyone and make some amazing choices !
Good morning Menu Crew and Daisy!
QOTD: Exercise... Since my issues with anxiety post op, I try to "get moving" most every day to hopefully combat my anxiety naturally. When I wake I try to do about 15 min of cardio (zumba or T25) and 7 minutes of yoga cool down, and then when i get to work I take another walk for about 20 min when i first get there, and maybe another during the day. Last week I went back to the gym, but only 2 times a week, where I attend a bootcamp class and take it very very easy (they all know I came out of surgery and are very understanding and supportive). Its great to get focused for that time that you're working out and the social aspect helps me with my emotions as well. I just wi**** carried onto the rest of my day! I am hopefull I'll get out of this emotional rut soon enough. Thanks to everyone who's given me words of encouragement here on OH.

Happy Halloween everyone , there's frost on the pumpkins this morning . We had a great weekend , had the grandkids for a sleep over , JP carved out the pumpkins with them and we roasted the seeds . Seeds went home with them . All the snacks go home with them .
QOTD : I haven't started exercising at a gym . I do go to physio twice a week for my knees and I have exercises that I do daily for my legs . I bought a jawbone UP 3 fitness tracker last month and I have been challenging myself to get more steps in . I would like to join the YMCA and start with aqua fit , just need to work up the courage to go .
