Frozen Yogurt?

Okay anyone who is reading the menu thread today, you knew this was coming right?

I just got a Whynter ice cream maker with compressor. Already searched the forum, can't find any recipes for frozen yogurt in an ice cream maker.  Can I just put ff greek yogurt and some sf jam, or Torani syrup, or some crushed strawberries in there and freeze it?

I have Eggface's protein ice cream thread.  But hey.  Strawberry frozen yogurt... for my birthday... yum.

i believe so but do a search- there are some posts on recipes.

I  would blend frozen strawberries and yogurt in the blender first with your syrup. Add skim milk to make it more liquid and then freeze in ice cream maker.  You can add chopped strawberries and jam.

Just follow the instructions in the manual for frozen yogurt but use whatever sweetener you use normally... the fruit & anything that adds water content... it will make it more icy.

You could also just take one of these recipes and put a dollop of yogurt in them before freezing.
