What's on your Menu today (CROCK POT RECIPE & PHOTO FRIDAY) RNYers/VSGers?
Hi menu gang,
Im going for haircut today. Ill probably go to my friends house tonight. Tomorrow im going to donate plasma and go to the grocery store. Church on Sunday.
Cheesy chicken chili
1.5 lbs chicken breast
1 can kidney beans
2 cans rotel tomatoes
1 can of corn
1 cup water
1 packet ranch seasoning mix
1 TBSP. Cumin
1 TBSP. Chili powder
1 TBSP. onion powder
8 oz light cream cheese
Mix everything together, throw the cream cheese on top and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Then shred the chicken and stir in the cream cheese.
B egg whites ham and cheese omelet and garlic herb cheese snack bites
L chicken salad, baby carrots and red pepper
D cheesy chicken chili and green beans
S Greek yogurt, apple and turkey sausage snack bites

This Recipe sounds good! (I will skip the corn, but maybe throw chick peas in it's place?)

I dressed up as a hooker my senior year in high school. ( For a party..not at school, haha. ) I was pretty straight laced back then. No one was expecting me to look how I did. It was pretty funny.

Good morning menu friends , Love everyone's picture's and recipes . My go to favorites for the crockpot aren't weight loss friendly , so I don't make them anymore. Here's one that I make but I don't follow a recipe . It's swiss steak .
I buy the cheapest steak,one of those big boneless ones . I put it in the crock pot frozen . Chop up an onion , some celery green pepper and a garlic clove . 1 16 oz can of diced tomatoes . I add a few potatoes for my husband . Put the lid on and cook on low all day . The steak comes out so tender and melts in your mouth .

S PLAIN GREEK YOGURT
TOTALS 569 cals 81 grams of protein

Checked out the recipes, these are things I do in my Dutch oven pot in the oven, so I guess I'll try the Crock pot!!

I'm having a stall already as well. The scale has only moved 1 lb in the past week! I am 4 weeks out and the first week of course the scale didn't really move much but the 2nd and 3rd was great! Now not so much but I can't wait for more weight loss.

I don't have a halloween picture to share today, but i do have a recipe

FILIPINO CHICKEN ADOBO
Makes 6 to 8 servings
4 to 5 pounds chicken thighs, bone-in
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/3 cup soy sauce
4 cloves garlic, crushed
1 teaspoon black peppercorns, crushed
3 bay leaves (dry works as well as fresh)
EDIT: 3/4 Cup Water (forgot this was for a crockpot, i usually simmer this for a couple hours on the stove while at home)
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
Directions
Remove skin and trim fat from chicken thighs, if desired. Combine the thighs, vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, peppercorns, water, and bay leaves in a crockpot/slow cooker. Cover and cook for 6-8 hours on low. Salt and pepper to taste and serve with veggies (or traditionally, over rice). Optional to season and sear thighs before combining all ingredients and putting in a slow cooker, but that's up to you.
