What's on your Menu today (CROCK POT RECIPE & PHOTO FRIDAY) RNYers/VSGers?

Good morning Daisy and menu crew! Busy weekend for us. Tonight we are taking a bus trip to the casino with 9 other couples, it is ladies night with a DJ and we will have a blast. Tomorrow we will celebrate my oldest son 21st Birthday.

My favorite crock pot recipe

Hawaiin Chicken thighs

2- 3 pounds of chicken thighs

15 oz can of crushed pineapple

1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce

1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

3 cloves of mixed garlic

Mix ingredients in a bowl, add chicken to crock pot and cover chicken with mixture, cook 4-5 hours. I serve over zoodles.

B - Protein Bar

S - caramel apple pie yogurt

L - Chicken parmagiana

S - buddig ham

D - seafood buffet at casino

The chicken thighs come out great this way, so tender, even the kids like them.

We love to have fun, I am fortunate that Joddie has embraced the "new" Mike as there were many years I did not have the energy or confidence to do anything. I am so Thankful for making the decision to have WLS.

Thank you for posting honestly. To post saying that you had no energy or confidence is huge. 

I ave always been an upbeat and happy person, but because of weight/diabetes, had become a miserable guy. I am so thankful for WLS

Mike this just RESONATES with me so much what you wrote. I to was an upbeat and happy person but the extra weight made me miserable, tired, exhausted, short tempered and depressed, so I totally get what you are saying. So glad we here on OH and for your family that the upbeat happy and healthy slim Mike is back
