Small shirt! YAHOO! Sorry for the stress grazing. Now is the time to sort out the relationship with food & stress, as you know many of us used food to comfort us during times of stress. I hope your stress is better today and awesome your scale still moved for you, so close to 160s!!
I keep forgetting to get scallops, I love them but always forget about them!
Have a better day DG!
Good morning everyone!
I am officially a size 18! I have to go through my closet this week and sort out all my pants in 22's since they just dont want to fit anymore!
QOTD: I dont have an answer right now because im pretty early on out, and I for the post part listen to what they say because they're pretty much in line with what you guys have been telling me anyway (protein forward, veggies if there's room, extreme low carb). My surgeon however doesnt want me to be on miralax daily and suggested metamucil instead for regularity, whch sucks because i've been on miralax for a week and its been doing wonders. I may just keep it on hand for a "once a month clean out) and try metamucil for a bit.

Hi there , we don't have Miramar where I am in Ontario but we have restoralax . Same idea . Anyways I thought the same as you that I didn't want to use restoralax everyday . I tried using the products that my Centre advised on , well for me the end results were not pretty . I was nauseated in so much pain , couldn't sit down I was always pacing seriously at one point I felt like I was in labour . I decided I couldn't spend every week like this and thought ok it's time to listen to the vets . I've been using restoralax (miralax ) everyday and I'm no longer suffering . Please don't let yourself go through agony , it's also not safe to get that backed up . Good luck
I'll try out metamucil with colace for a bit and see how it goes, but I am totally with you on the miralax. Im still going to use it, but not as regularly at first, depending on my results from the other stuff. THanks for your input!

Yahoo on size 18! That is so awesome! Time to hit up a Goodwill store for some transition clothes.
Glad you have a good Centre that seems to be in line with what all we are saying. As for the Miralax. I use it daily, before someone turned me on to it, I was suffering terribly from constipation. And I mean terribly. So I have talked to the Vets on here on OH, I have talked to some of the Doctors/Nurses I work with an they all agree there is nothing wrong with long term use of Miralax (its called Restoralax in Canada but its the same stuff). So every day I make a Vanilla Hazelnut coffee in my Steel to go mug, I put in one capful of the Miralax, one Splenda and fill it up to the brim with Lactose free milk, I give it a few shakes and viola! Tasteless, odourless and it WORKS. Some people use it daily (like me) some use it every other day. Miralax is what works and I think you should find what works for you. Best of luck on whatever you decide but personally I would stick with what you are doing!
Great menu!
I'll see how the colace/metamucil advice works. If not, i may do every other day miralax. thanks for the advice, as always, very helpful!
