That's pretty low calories, but more of an issue is that you are not getting enough protein. I would recommend a shake once a day. I am 8 weeks out and still need a shake to get enough protein in.

I am about 10 weeks out, I would only suggest to try and get more protein in. Add a shake or put some non flavored protein powder into your food.

If you are not doing protein shakes, you are doing fine.  (There are many plans that do NOT include protein supplements)

Protein = 30g at 30 days, 60g at 60 days, 90g at 90 days is the recommendation/goal

Hi Billie, how are you feeling?

I think your calories and protein are a little low.  I see you are eating 2oz of chicken breast so if you can handle dense protein you could eat more of that.  Or add in a string cheese or the other half of your yogurt for your after dinner snack.  Do you put protein powder in your pudding? If not then that is just wasted calories to eat a pudding with no protein.  Add in some unflavored protein to the pudding, always try to get in each meal or snack some protein.

Keep coming here to the RNY boards and menu boards for feedback & questions. Lots to learn early out and it can get overwhelming at times, we are all here to help!

Best of luck on your journey!

A little tired especially with work, I will see about adding more proteins as a snack.  My program said no snacks so Im I guess I was nervous about doing this.  Thanks for the advice.
