Congratulations!! You are doing awesome!! #4 is my favorite-- any time I don't plan a lunch, etc is when I go down the dark rabbit hole of poor choices! Impromptu just isn;t my thing!! #8 is so true and SOOO frustrating!!

and I'm totally jealous I didn't get any sort of celebratory #'s lost message from MFP!!

I like to think of it as a "dark alley" full of prostitutes and pimps that want NOTHING good for me myself.  I dont even get to keep the money I made!

Rabbit hole is nice, but kind of benign.  In my real life, Dunkin opened in the BOTTOM of my building, so I feel like a reformed sex addict walking past the alley I "used" to work in every day. There are days, when my left hand actually gets on the door handle.

I am stopping for JUST coffee...right!?!?!? Not really, cuz even when I am getting "just coffee"  I am looking over the pale white pastries painted in various shades of black, brown, hot pink, ecru, and sprinkles...  I can sense the "easy" ones.

OMG- I love your analogy lol. That's me walking down the bread/cookie aisle in the supermarket. Just trying to make it past my dealers.

Congrats!

OMG! You are so much smarter than I was at 6 months!.  Points 2-8 are REAL, relevant, and timely! The last bullet about other obese family members NOT thinking the trade off is "worth it" is spot on.  Bullet No. 10 is what we all hope for. Between you and me, I think Groomy loved me MORE when I was heavier (i.e. we are in the same boat) but when people get on me to stop loosing weight/eat more/you are getting GAUNT (as if that is a bad thing), he merely asked, "Are YOU happy?"

What a relief!

Love you and your insights!

Keep going!  100 lbs is "almost there" but you arent in the promised land yet. I can see you, but...KEEP MOVING FORWARD!!!
