I'm so proud of you!!! You've done a tremendous job at this, and I, for one, find it so inspirational! I may not get to 100lbs by my 6 month point (well I definitely won't), but I'll be trying to catch up with you and get there as soon as I can! You are such a great lady, and before and after surgery you're beautiful!

I kind of am starting to see this whole obese discrimination thing you speak of... I was thinking I was being over sensitive, but I may be wrong...

Anywho!!! Way to go!!! Keep on being You, and have a great ride to goal!

  1.  ...but don't you feel more sexy? Reminds me when someone offered a phrase to use, "touch all you want, just don't look."
  2. I was fortunate to have WLS where the NUTS are long-termers and well-educated re bariatrics.
  3. A friendly suggestion to volunteer helping jazz-up your local support group as a way to pay-it-forward.
  4. Yes, yes, yes to planning.  A strict routine helps me the most.  Same thing.
  5. See #3
  6. Feeling stuffed with food was a way to stuff other feelings; now I do it with coffee--still wrong, I know.
  7. Cheapo, carb-laden foods was my cheapo demise
  8. In your profession, this must really really bug you.
  9. One of the things that bothers me the most is failing my family for so long.
  10. My DH actually said, for a while, he missed the SSMO days because he missed what had become normal.
  11. ...finding peace and being true to you.  Go Chassibi.  Congratulations on the Century mark.

That #6 on your list here!  Stuffing with hot liquids now!  Really is a compulsion I must work on.  Thanks for saying it.
