I remember getting quite a bit of sleet as a child but we have not had anything since that "snow storm" of 2004 LOL. My daughter is 7 and she has never seen a single flurry. I guess I will have to take her to Colorado to see some snow one day. Who knows, maybe we will see something this year!

I didn't see snow until I was 19, newly married, and had moved to Germany. ( my ex was Army. ) We landed while it was snowing. I was in awe...but was freeeeeezing! It got old quickly.

Seeing my kids enjoy snow is one of my favorite things. We used to get one good snow storm a year here, and my kids would go bonkers! Hope your daughter gets to experience it!

There are no historical documents of my time as an elf. Soooo glad it was pre-social media/smartphone days.

I didn't wear an elf costume. It was just a red smock and a Santa hat...and for that, I was grateful.

Good Morning Daisy and gang! It's crazy that you are getting such cold temps already and we are high 70's but it's supposed to rain tomorrow and Friday.

QOTD: When I originally started googling to search for answers to a few questions and kept getting directed here (and it was also listed as a resource on my plans paperwork) I figured I might as well create an account. I found so much helpful information and then of course this fabulous menu family! Love the support and friendships we provide to one another.

I too, hope we hear from Elizabeth soon!!

She posted about an hour ago from the hospital (on FB)... so she may be in the surgery room by now!

Knowing she'll do great! Can't wait for an update!

Good morning menu gang,

QOTD I came to OH for support before my surgery and enjoyed reading it everyday. Also made some online friends through the years.  Ive gotten some good recipe ideas from various groups on here in what to eat. My local support group I don't find helpful.

B egg whites ham and cheese omelet and sharp cheddar cheese bites

L chicken salad, baby carrots and yellow pepper

D steak and cream corn

S Greek yogurt,  apple and turkey sausage snack sticks

Have a good day
