Good morning Menu Family!! How are you all? I am good. I am frozen, it's -2 (28F) here!! But all is good. We are getting 2-5 cm (approx. 2 in) of "wet" snow where I live tonight. Exciting right! Not really, it will just melt and turn to water/rain and make commuting a nightmare. Oh well such is life in Canada in the Fall.
Reminder in case you missed the menu post from yesterday, Friday is post your fav Crock Pot recipe, tell us about it and give exact ingredients in case the rest of us want to try it! Also it's Halloween theme Photo Friday! Get your pics ready! Anyone who does not know how to post a pic, you better learn! And if you are a "non" picture poster you will be looked upon scornfully, come on join the fun!! Ha ha
QOTD: What keeps you coming back to OH? What is your motivation? For me it started off with I needed advice when I was early post op about ouces to eat, what to eat and vitamins, then I got menu fatigue so I joined the daily menu thread (very special shout out to my original menu girls Annybanny & DCgirl love and miss you two) and I got great ideas of what others were eating who were the same amount of time post op as I was and it reassured me I was doing this whole "WLS" thing right! I have since made some amazing off line friendships with some of you and I love having these friendships and being with people who "get it." I also love to "give back" and if there is someone I can help, support, motivate then that makes me super happy!

I agree where is the line? I saw pumpkin spice Oreo's and I wanted to throw up, I mean you can't ruin an Oreo like that. We should start on online petition! LOL LOL

I'd be willing to try them for everyone and report back. Just in case they are amazing... Because frankly, I'm not really sure where the Pumpkin Spice line is!

If it was just pumpkin pie "spices" ( cinnamon, nutmeg and their friends ) in a vanilla chip-or somehow a cheesecake flavored chip, that might be okay, but adding the pumpkin flavor itself icks me out.
I always ate my pumpkin pie with 5 lbs of whipped cream surrounding it-the way it was meant to be eaten-so as to minimize the pumpkin flavor. ( Which is why I loved pumpkin cheesecake so much; I got to cover up that pumpkin flavor with cheesecake! )
I woke up in between a memory and a dream...
