Good luck with your school work DG. Its so true on the walking thing. I have no problem now jumping up and running up the stairs to grab something I forgot in the bedroom, life is so much easier now...

its cold here too! High of 46 and low of 28 with "chance of wet snow" oh brother.... LOL

I forgot about carrying groceries, that is so true. I never wanted to carry anything extra even having my purse over my shoulder felt like a ton of extra weight pre surgery.

Great menu, keep up the great work!

Its sunny but chilly today here in VA, but probably not as chilly as it is up there where you are, Daisy.

QOTD: I'm only 8 weeks out today, so won't have a good answer compared to you guys, but recently its been to get up the flight of stairs at home with ease. My husband noticed it this weekend, even though i was just zipping by to get laundry. He was like "usually you're panting and you've got your hand up to me saying 'no, dont talk to me, i'm tired,'". I guess that's a win!

I'll post my Filipino Chicken Adobo recipe on Friday, which can be cooked in a crock pot and is very WLS friendly (provided you don't serve it over rice, like filipinos normally do, haha).

Time since surgery: 8 weeks

B: 2 Jimmy Dean Turkey Sausage Links

S: Premier Protien Vanilla with PB2

L: Buddig Ham

S: Isopure Mango Peach

D: Crock Sirloin Tip Roast with Au Jus & half a slice of provolone ( Got this idea from chassibi so i'm trying it tonight, and having my husband and son use it to make french dip sandwiches)

Therapy is helping a lot, though my anxiety can still get pretty bad sometimes. Thanks for asking! I didn't realize how much I relied on sugar for the high, which I'm missing now, and the anxiety is hard to shake some days.  I'm going to see my PCP on thursday, so i'm bringing up the possibility of taking something for it on a temporary, as-needed basis. Meanwhile, my therapist and I are working on other coping mechanisms to deal with it head on, as well as my issues that lead me to obesity, etc etc. It can only go up from here!

Thanks for the support! You're a great cheerleader!

NICE menu!  And do you blend up the protein shake with the PB2 powder?  Does it mix well?  I am stuck on heating my vanilla shake and putting it with my coffee...but love the taste of peanut butter.

I really only like the Chocolate Premiere, so I add PB2 to cut the sweetness of the Vanilla one. I use my ninja to mix it together. you get the goodness of peanutbutter with your protein shake!
