Morning everyone!

well, yesterday was the first day I went over my calories.  That's what happens when you don't have groceries or a plan...

qotd: it's still early days, but I have to say pretty much everything is easier. I always used to have to ration my energy.

Menu:

B: protein shake

L ham, cheese hummus

D curry chicken and a little broccoli

S yogurt or protein shake if needed

Calories under 500, protein 60

Have a great day everyone!

Good morning all.

Today is my last day home, tomorrow I go back to work.  That was a fast six weeks! But I'm excited to go back.  I don't do sitting around well.

QOTD

Hmm so many things already and I'm only six weeks out.  I can comfortably cross my leggs, I can go up and down the stairs with ease and my knees don't hurt.

For food I did poor planning today, a friend of my husbands is coming today at 8:30  to install my new Stainless appliances, so exciting.  However, I will have no stove or microwave to prepare lunch.  So probably cheese for lunch to hold me over.  I did have my breakfast shake.

Chablisi, love the scarf on you

good luck back at work tomorrow Karen. I also took 6 weeks off work. Don' be surprised if you come home and want to nap cuz you are exhausted. its a hard getting back into work and remembering your routine. Just remember you had major surgery you will be tired and make sure you keep your liquids up, that is super important!

Yay on crossing legs already!  And I am excited for you for new appliances!!

Good mornign Daisy and menu crew! I hope everyone is staying warm so far.  I am currently sitting inside Chick Fil A eating and logging into my school site to start my homework for the day.

Time since surgery 7 months 173 this morning

QOTD- The thing that I can tell the most difference in is my walking ability.  Before my WLS I couldn's even walk through my house without giving out of breath now who would have ever guessed I would walk 4.5 miles? I sure wouldnt have! Daisy I was like you I carried the bulk of my weight in my mid section and my butt.  The rest of me was still very big but that was the main places.

B- 1/2 Scrambled egg and 1 pc bacon

L- 2 oz Grilled Chicken tenders with vinagarette dressing drizzled on them

D- 2 oz Ribeye

S- 1/2 Protein shake to get my numbers up

I hope everyone has a fantabulous day today!!
