So many NSVs!

Although the scale actually went UP 1 lb this past week, I have experienced a few NSVs that I thought I'd share.

 *I have always been a LOT larger than my husband, well last week just for giggles I tried on one of his hoodies and IT FIT!  Yahoo!  I texted him a  pic and he said "So now my clothes are your clothes too?"   Yes they are!   Hehehe.

*Last week we were at my 14 year old daughter's game and the kids were in a rush to get to the field and we were walking behind them, and I actually JOGGED a little to keep up!  Whaaaaat?!?!?!  I never thought I would be able to jog again.

*My husband and I had a "date day" on Saturday and we went hiking in the woods!  We've never had an "active" date.  It was awesome!  I actually kept up with him and passed him walking a couple times!   We even had to go up and down some steep hills that a year ago I never would have even attempted.

*I was at the grocery store with my daughter yesterday and he actually said to me "mom slow down, you're walking too fast".  OMG!  I have always been the slow one that people have to wait for, and now I'm walking too fast!   YAY!!!

So while the scale is moving slowly, I feel like I am getting so much healthier and certainly happier!

That's wonderful! Congrats on every NSV and good for you for focusing on them, rather than letting the scale get you down.

RNY Jan 12, 2017 Lost 137 lbs but regained 60.

77 lbs lost and counting!

Losing the regain! I got this!

Congratulations keep on going! I'm relatively new to the boards, what does NSV stand for?

NSV = Non-scale victory :)

And thank you for your encouragement and welcome to the boards!

NSVs are great. They really help when the scales not moving. It does move in the right direction. But never as fast as we would like it.

Keep coming NSVs. Keep posting them.
