What's on your Menu today (Monday) RNYers?
I just had one sample pack and yes I saw the neon green and it totally tasted like a jolly rancher!

QOTD: I get "Are you done losing yet" or last night at the wedding... My girlfriend (Mother of the bride)'s MIL told my other good freind/neighboir- who had the sleeve in March and she's about 15lbs from normal BMI- "Your perfect but Cyndy shouldn't lose any more weight" My DIL texted a pic of me and the grandkids to her mother- who I love and who hasn't seen me in about 20 months... she responded that my arms looked like toothpicks. My DIL said she wasn't sure how to respond to that. :)
Wedding was very nice last night- but we didn't eat dinner until like 9PM. Starving.... there was a lot of meat though... buffet... fish chicken, short rib, pulled pork- carved roast beef and lamb... They also had Thai calamari which was pretty amazing....
Forget trendy cupcakes....The wedding cake was a tower of cannoli.... this is NY and cannoli are always appropriate... :)
Food is kind of unknown...but making a stab at it.
1: Coffee latte/miralax/fairlife leftover frittata
2: tuna
3: dinner?
Snacks: kirkland protein bar, chocolate chai latte, cheese and pepperoni

There was a small Thai restaurant just down the street from me in Chicago that made the BEST ever sauteed calamari in this spicy garlic sauce... Oh my... now I will be craving this! I haven't found a place that can do it anywhere else!

Hi all!!
Busy here today with insurance adjuster--total loss, no surprise, and getting a rental for the older son. It's all a new learning experience for him. Hopefully he'll never need to use it again. Young, male, LOL!! That's why his premiums are so high!!!
QOTD: My husband...he has tried to be supportive, but sometimes the, um, comments are maybe taken the wrong way. I've jumped down his throat more than once, so he feels safer to keep quiet. The boys are oblivious. I haven't shared my WLS with many.

Good morning!
QOTD: Not down the road far enough, thank goodness. I did my grocery shopping yesterday, which is hard given that I love to shop and keep buying way too much food... ended up with deli roast beef, buffalo chicken, chicken tenders, chicken thighs, cheese, carbmaster yogurt and A SNICKER's BAR. The checkout clerk asked me if I wanted the candy bar left out. I almost yelled at her NO! It was for my autistic office helper at school who loves them... but I still feel the pull of that junk. I wanted to get the snack pack but I knew that having little Snickers bars floating around would be a disaster. So at least I am learning ;)
B: Premier Protein vanilla with Torani Pumpkin Pie and coffee
L: Boar's head Buffalo chicken, babybel
D: Boar's Head roast beef with horseradish sauce, 4 green olives and two pappadew peppers
S: Carbmaster Pineapple coconut, syntrax grapefruit in water
Totals: 610 calories, 83 protein 24 carbs 22 fat
*OH!!! Edited to add my NSV. I finally was cleared to go swimming... and when I put on my suit it was swimming on me. Had to buy an 18. EIGHT-TEEN!!! I was a 24.
Personally, yes. It is worth it. The texture and taste are very different than any other type I've tried. Only exception is at Costco I will get pastrami and salami.
Otherwise...Boars Head is the shiz-nit.

NO comparison. I hate most deli meat but Boar's Head is unbelievably good. I used to live on the bologna, but too much fat now. The rare roast beef was the first deli meat I could actually tolerate. Now I am becoming addicted to the Boar's Head horseradish, and the spicy mustard, and ...
