Good Morning Daisy and Menu Friends!

QOTD:  I don't really have anyone in my life that tries to get me to eat more, thank goodness.  My daughter is very supportive and says, "BAD MOM!" if I eat something off plan.  However she eats lots of goodies around me and sometimes it's hard not to be tempted.

My menu for today:

B:  crepe w/ strawberries, cream cheese, cool whip

L:  Lettuce, spinach, tomato, chicken, h.b. egg, cheese, cranberries, nuts, low cal dressing

D:  chili cheese dog

S:  watermelon

S:  Light n Fit strawberry cheesecake Greek yogurt

Exercise:  Walking the dogs

My work days have been busy lately, its a good and bad thing!  This weekend was just full of the normal crap, running around (and after) the boys...laundry...chores...getting **** done for the week.  etc etc etc

QOTD: I still get the "you look great"..."you are so skinny" comments etc.  But the only person who comments on WHAT I am eating is my husband....ugh

Morning everyone!! It's still warm here too, today in the 80's, the rest of the week looks to be warm too. I'll take it! Had a good weekend, and I'll leave this job in about 20 minutes to go to a closing for my latest client. He's a great guy, young and smart! Buying his first home at 24. He has plans to buy and rent several properties as he can, and I hope I get to help him with all of them! I've really enjoyed working with him. (and he's single, ladies... anyone out there looking for a smart young guy?!)

QOTD: I'm not there yet, either... my family and friends are super supportive, and no one judges. "You do You" is our motto. (I also have 2 close friends that have had WLS, one just before me, and one three weeks ago, we are the Three Musketeers through this).

 

B: Leftover steak (I packed 3 ounces)

L: Leftover steak (again, the 3 oz package)

D: Not positive, but I'm making an old fashioned dish called Chicken Paprikash for dinner tomorrow night as we have friends coming into town. The only issue with it are the home made spaetzle-like dumplings in it. I will have to pull some out for me before I cook those (however, I do imagine a couple of them will cross my lips.) I only make this once a year...

S: If I need one, probably beef jerky or cheese

Weight this morning 177.0 (ugh, I was 176.4 yesterday! LOL)

How are you liking the Syntrax?  I had half a packet of Green Apple Ecstacy and was shocked at the neon green color.  So far not really that thrilled.  I am having them mostly in water, but the powder still has clumps in it and settles at the bottom of my water bottle so I have to keep shaking it.  Are you using it other than in water?

I'm not really using them much. Seems that right around the time I decided to order it, is also the same time my pouch lightened up enough to get more dense proteins in, so I've been eating food/meat for breakfast instead of a protein drink. I've had two of them... one with water (it was ok, nothing more), and one mixed into coffee, which was much better!

I used a shaker cup for each one, so the lumps and unmixed stuff wasn't really an issue. Are you using a shaker cup, or just shaking it in your water bottle? Might try using the shaker cup, then adding it to your water?

 

***Edited to add that because I'm running around so much, and no time for my steak lunch (just yet), I went ahead and mixed up the green apple to tide me over for a couple of hours... it's not bad at all!****

Neon green and Jolly-Racher-ish huh?

I am not using a shaker jar, was trying to avoid that expense.  But Amazon here I come again.

You can probably find them cheaper at Big Lots, Wal Mart, or Target! Makes a HUGE difference with protein, for sure!

I use a shaker jar to dissolve it in water... then add it to another glass with more water and ice... I like the fuzzy navel.
