Happy Monday Menu Friends! How is everyone? I am great, had a good quiet weekend, got some new wicked winter hiking boots and some awesome wool socks! Bring on the snow! Thanks to everyone who posted your before & after on a Friday. I am going to set aside some time today and look at them all! This Photo Friday I am designating all things "Halloween!!" Post your fav pic of you dressed up, your kids, your pets, or your house decorated!!
QOTD: do you have people in your life who know you had surgery and constantly make comments like "oh you make this look easy. You lost all your weight so you can eat "normal now." You don't have a weight problem anymore so go ahead and eat xxxx." Oddly my boss is the worst for this! She is an amazing cook & baker and is always bringing in goodies for me. I am forever saying "no thank you" and she gets all bent out of shape "well you are skinny now you can eat this!" It's a compliment I know as she sees me doing so well but also frustrating as she clearly does not realize that I have to work at this daily and continually make good choices. Maintenance is hard!

TOTALS: 858 calories, 92 protein, 20 carbs, 55 fat

Have an amazing day, smile!

Morning DD2! Congratulations on New Sock Day!
QOTD: No one comments on my surgery or eating anymore. It was over 4 years ago, and my weight has been stable for well over 3. It's just who I am now, and how I eat, so it doesn't warrant comments. I like it this way.

jealous you don't get the constant "feedback" LOL new socks are awesome, its always fun to get new socks, undies and PJs
I think the last time I owned PJs, they had feet in them.
I don't think I actually bough PJs of any kind. I was too young to have money back then.

I'm BACK!!! Camping I feel despite the cons was awesome~
The good- The wifi didn't work at our site (so I was forced to read magazines, color and overall relax)
The camper did awesomely it's first time out. Now we are going to try to go as much as possible!!
I walked a TON each day almost 12K some days.
I got to pet and feed goats and sheet!
I ran and speed walked to the bath house without being winded
I made kick arse ribs in my instant pot and turkey sloppy joes and finished them on the grill. I also made DH a campfire brownie in the skillet on the grill and burned all the bottom of it so the only edible part was the top because it wasn't burned. Kind of funny.
I went to a thrift store (shocker) and found a burnt orange suede button skirt from the 1960-70's for $7.50! Plus fill an entire bag of clothes for $1! it was awesome.
Mini vacation away from the pups. And the new dog sitter worked great!
The BAD- The wifi didn't work - lol
The bath house was a 5 min walk which was not acceptable to my bladder so I had to pee in a girl urinal bag- this didn't make me happy
The truck decided to not idle down after going up a hill. This was scary to me and it is being looked at.
DH was sick and I felt terrible for him.
When I was there I got a nasal dripping so now I'm on OTC meds to clear it up.
I weigh 2 pounds more because I didn't poop the ENTIRE time. sheesh. So I will wait a few days before weighing again.
My menu was good, we did stop by the orchard on the way home and I did buy a mini bag of apples. Will give 1/2 to neighbors and keep about half for me. I ate 1/2 of one last night to help with the pooping situation mentioned above...
QOTD: I think that people that don't know anything about the surgery thing because you are thin it is a right to eat crap all the time. or as a 'treat'.
Not posting my menu today but will be having: leftover egg mcmuffin no muffin, leftover ribs, egg whites, coffee (decaf), protein pancakes, etc)

I am so glad the inaugural camping trip went so well! You had a lot of good and just some bad, but it sounds awesome. I love that you were able to relax and just unplug! I could not be without a bathroom, you get extra brownie points for that!! So glad the pups did well with the new sitter, was going to ask you if you took them or not. My bowels also get all wonky when I travel, thank god for Miralax!
Sorry to hear you and hubby are sick, as you know I am just finally better better after 6 weeks, so get some rest and feel better. Can't wait to see some pics!
