Good canned chili or chili recipe
That's a lot of sugar for a meal masquerading as protein.

Chili has been a meal I've been able to eat easily, get full but not too full, and it's pretty easy to make.
I chop things..onions and pepper and slowly cook them.
I open cans. Whatever is around but tomato whole, crushed,or diced + cans of beans drained->kidney,black
I am married to a vegetarian so we add fake meat (TVP..textured vegetable protein..frozen in bags) If you aren't add some hamburger with the onions and peppers and drain off the excess fat/oil.
I open a packet of William's Chili Mix which is my Oklahoma childhood favorite. For me chili isn't chili without William's chili mix. My people used to send me packets but the internet is magic so I always have it. You can make your own spice mix and also all things to make it spicier. I make mild chili. My son adds hot sauce on his own.
Let it all cook for a while and eat it.
Optional toppings..little plain greek yogurt, grated cheese, and for my family fritos.
Good luck on your cooking adventures.
This one is my favorite lately... http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/2015/10/black -bean-and-butternut-squash-chili.html It's very Fall, I love the little sweetness the butternut squash gives it, cuts any heat a bit. I've tried it with beef and turkey and both have been great. It's great in the fridge a few days or freeze in portions... LOL just label it or a month from now you'll look at it and go WTH is that?! ;)
