What's on your Menu today (Wednesday) RNYers?

My best friend's 2 children both have CF, 7 year old girl and a 3 year old boy.  She has a wonderful tattoo with their names, birth dates and purple roses!  She is also planning on getting "Just Breathe" on her wrist as well!  I wear a silver bracelet, always, that says Just Breathe and has their names on the ends. 

  I am so sorry about your daughter, CF takes too many way to young.

Yes I used to be a respiratory therapist and so too many lives torn apart by that terrible disease.

So sorry for your loss.   I'm sure she is breathing easy now.

things are good- day 3 of project refridge leftovers. I'm not sure my DH can eat any more mashed potatoes, lol. today chicken is on the menu, salad, Today is my Thurs/friday since I'm only half day tomm then gong camping! I'm so excited!

QOTD: DH is understanding but there have been challenges especially when there are comments about how 'this is all I talk about' or that 'everything has been about me' for the past year. I try to take these in stride but I know there is some truth to them as this is for anyone a super huge deal. and he is me designated 'support person' so it is so hard to not talk to him. This past month was the first month he actually came to my hospital support group in 1 1/2 years since last May when I started this.

I've had to consciously stop talking about it with Jason, my mom and sister. I know I was being annoying. Now my mom asks if I haven't told her in a week or to: "What are you down to now?"

Jason rarely asks but says things like: I can feel your hipbone! Or something else inappropriately male haha.

yes, DH talks about my boney-ness! especially my arms and hipbones.

I don't mention anything to mom, sisters and dad unless they ask me, and believe me, they DON'T anymore.  One sister likes to ask me about my extra skin when she does talk to me about it. So i go about my business, mom saw me on sunday and didn't even say anything complimentary to me. last time she made a comment about how 'i shouldn't be a size 6'? WTH
