I can't even imagine the thoughts running through your mind as you contemplate this next stage. I must say I am very jealous. Sometimes I see myself naked and feel sick but then I'm quick to remind myself:1. I'm old and not planning on being a swimsuit model and 2. at least I feel 1000 times better than pre surgery. But dang it it would be amazing to be a true skinny *****!

Good morning DD2 and everyone.  I am struggling hard today.  My kids sleep cycle is all jacked up and it's screwing with me.  Plus, the scale is being very, very *****y, and I'm up like 4lbs this week.  I know I haven't eaten enough to even gain a pound, so it's gotta be water weight and poop.  I feel like I'm backed up, even though I've been going pretty regularly, I just don't feel like I'm getting the bulk of it out.  I'll be upping my water today and plan on eating salad for lunch and dinner, so that should help. Sorry for the TMI.

My kid was up in the middle of the night last night again, I got him to get back in bed around 4 this morning, and I slept until nearly 9, so I'm not dying here, but its really throwing me off my game having my sleep broken so much.  It makes me feel kinda depressed and off kilter.

DD2QOTD:  I am going to just keep going with the weight loss.  My weight is up to 161 this morning, when I had gotten down to 157 just last week.  My goal weight is 140lbs, which would put me in the "normal bmi range" of 24.8.  I'm 14 months post op and sitting within 20lbs of goal.  I plan to have a DEXA scan again in a bit to see where I stand.  I think that will help me get a better idea of where I actually stand.

Edit* I am so out of sorts this morning I clicked submit before I was done.  So, this is my plan for the day:

B: turkey taco meat, cold from the left over container while standing in front of the fridge.  Do we see a problem here? Coffee with cream and sugar free coffeemate

L: Romaine salad with deli turkey, a cheese stick (cut up), tomatoes and Bolthouse Farms Yogurt Ranch dressing

D: Romaine Salad with boneless chicken breast, feta cheese, tomatoes and the same dressing as above

S: 2x light and fit greek yogurt.

totals

Calories 823 protein 96 carbs 51 fat 32

I'm hoping my I can get my head on straight here, I'm feeling all out of sorts.  Uggghhh.

Good morning Daisy and menu crew!

QOTD:  Too early out yet.  My surgeon suggested that I would probably only get to the 170's, although he did not set a goal (and "normal" for my frame and height is 125-150).  Last time I was in THAT range was when I was about 14.  So we shall see.  Normal BMI if you can trust that is anything below 150.

B: Premier Protein vanilla shake with coffee

L:  Plain NF greek yogurt with Syntrax fuzzy navel

D:  travelling to Seattle for 6-wk check-up, dinner with daughter... 1/4 beef bowl no rice @ Chipotle?

S:  Babybel cheese

Totals:  551 calories 91 protein 16 carbs

Daisy!!!!! Look at that!

How is the yogurt mixed with the fuzzy navel???

I was thinking of definitely saving that one for some kind of milk, so yogurt is similar in that did you get the 'orange dreamsicle' flavor I'm hoping for??

Well I don't know... it is my menu plan ;)  I was thinking the cookie flavor, but then thought the fuzzy navel sounded so interesting... And I need to buy some very low carb milk or almond milk or ... to use with the Syntrax so greek yogurt is the only thing I have and I HAVE TO TRY something today... I have that sickness.  Deprivation sets in if I can't taste everything new ever in the world.
