Good morning Daisy and menu gang, I'm going to give posting here another go. The weekend did go by so fast. I had 3 of my grandkids for a sleep over. Glad your cold is easing up Daisy.

QOTD: when I hear people say that after a year the cravings and struggles get real I feel just terrified. I'm just over 4 months post op and I struggle with night time head hunger for chips. I'm glad that I have this forum to come to for support and valuable information.

Yay for having 3 grand kids over, that must have been fun, tiring but fun!

I am going to say its good that you feel "terrified" that we who are a few years post op talk about how the cravings are real, the struggle is real because its all 100% true.  If you are already struggling with night time head hunger you need to deal that now because my dear it only gets 1000 times harder.  Do whatever you need to do to battle it now, it really truly gets way harder as the months go by.

Posting here on OH, using MFP, weighing and measuring will help you a lot, don't be a stranger!

Great menu, you are eating really well!

Morning everyone! I had a great weekend... busy, but productive too!

Today I hit a record low of 178.8... the lowest I've been in over 16 years, when I got pregnant with my daughter and the scale just started soaring! I feel pretty good about that.

QOTD: I'm only 5 months post op. While I haven't given in to any really bad monsters, and I'm doing very well with tracking and weighing my foods, I do have twinges at times... and I think I'm with everyone else that says it happens in the evening mostly. Wonder why that is!

B: 2.5 oz of baked chicken thigh with ham and cheese rolled up inside

L: See above (the other half)

S: Nectar apple ectasy drink

D: leftover pork tenderloin and 1-2 baby carrots

Have a great day everyone!

I'll report back when I have it :) I don't have high hopes of it being like apple juice though! (I'm really hoping for more like a Jolly Rancher apple!)

I think the milky ones (like chocolate) are better with unsweetened almond or cashew milk.

CONGRATS Pammie on the lowest weight in 16 years, I am sooooo PROUD of you!  Awesome NSV girl!

I honestly don't know why the evening time is so hard, for me it might be because its the time I can relax, I am not working, not exercising, not driving, just sitting idle and that's when my mind "thinks" its hungry, I think its probably boredom, so I have to work at it!

Great looking menu, do report back for us on the Nectar apple.

Keep up the awesome work!!
