What's on your Menu (Monday) today RNYers?
Blech. I know i get forgetful during times of stress or over busy. I get inattentive, then that stresses me out all the more Hahaha not fun!
I have to say I would be losing my **** if there were bedbugs in my work space. Everything would be stored in garbage bags including me! I tend to be a bit hippy dippy about a lot of things, but bed bugs, and earwigs, I'm ready to drop chemical bombs on that situation haha That cannot be fun For you to deal with.
Oh Peach, I'm so sorry about the hard time you're going thru. I hate that almost want to cry feeling, especially when you're feeling frustrated & on top people are coming to you complaining about bed bugs? Do they think you're part of the extermination squad or something? Sheesh!

Good morning Daisy and RNYers!
Daisy- Shopping is always fun, even if it was a quiet weekend! Glad to know the cold is better.
My parents were in town, which was nice, but we were also busy doing work out in the front of our house, a lot accomplished. I found i needed to rest a lot, I couldn't do as much right now. Last night I reviewed some of our menu threads for more new ideas for food. I feel like i'm hitting a slump already.
QOTD: I'm too early out for bad habits returning, but I will sit back and read everyone's responses to know what I can and will face later. I also hope my therapy will help sort out some of my food issues so that i'm better prepared later on.

Glad you got lots of work done, but yes our energy level is still low at 6 weeks out, don't be surprised if you don't feel "back to normal" until 3 months post op.
It for sure if hard mentally that you are only 6 weeks out and it seems like you are eating the same stuff over and over, and you probably are. When you can start adding in more variety to your diet, and more variety of meats it will feel a lot better. Also when you move on to using less protein shakes and start eating more "food" it will feel more satisfying, I know it did for me. I eventually got so sick of drinking shakes, not the taste, the actually drinking of a shake. Have you checked out the website "The World according to egg face" she has a ton of ideas, might help with your menu slump. A lot of of who are a few years post op tend to eat a lot of the same thing over and over, I know I do.
You go have a great menu, and it is a lot to take in early out, don't get discouraged, you are doing great!

Happy Surgiversary Susan!! I am just a month behind you! I can honestly say I am not familiar with "angry eating". When I am angry I clean. Hubby always jokes he needs to **** me off more so that our house can sparkle, I get mad and just go into a cleaning frenzy, its not normal, but boy does our house look good! HA HA HA
Its nice to see you back on here, don't be a stranger my friend.
Good luck on your road trip, safe travels
Happy Surgiversary!! I've missed seeing your posts. I hope things are going well, and whoever you were pissed at made ammends!

Happy Surgiversary. Emotional eating is something I deal with too. The **** never seems to go away doesn't it.
