What's on your Menu (Monday) today RNYers?
The sweet issue started a month or two ago. I would just chew them and go on about my business. But for the past two days as soon as I swollow them its like I have had a cup of sugar. Not sure what has brought this on.

"Oh give thanks to the Lord for he is good!"
Morning DD2. I had a great weekend, as usual. I went apple picking and foliage watching with JB, and had her folks over for dinner.
QOTD. After the end of year one, it gets real. I've figured out how to avoid eating too much, but eating well is a lot harder. Because I track what I eat, I can balance my calories easily enough. But there are times when too many of those calories come from crappy food, and less from healthier choices.
It's hard.

Your weekend sounds lovely!
And I second your line of "After the end of year one its gets real" boy oh boy does it ever!!! You nailed it Grim, eating small amounts is the easy part, eating the "Right" small amounts is the hard part.
Ditto... "its hard"

Sorry you are not feeling better JB. After having an awesome weekend it is hard to come back to "work reality" LOL My alarm goes off at 4:45am and I roll outa bed at just before 5 or 5am, don't know how you do 4am!!!
What's the book you all are reading for book club? And they feed you? Chilli, awesome, I LOVE chilli!
I can totally relate to not working, out, for me its not the hectic schedule like you have its that I have been sick now for going on 3 weeks and mentally I am starting to lose it because I have not been to the gym. Just started back up taking the dogs out for a walk in the evening and my mind keeps saying "just jog a bit, it won't kill you" and then when I get home with the dogs and I lie on the couch and want to die from being so exhausted I say to myself "what was I thinking... jogging". Its hard balancing work, exercise, "life", family, friends, there is never enough hours in the day right.
Feel better girl
Ugh, it's far too warm here as well and I do. not. like. it. It might get to 85 this week. It's October, WTF, Mother Nature?
This weekend turned out to be a bit rough. As I mentioned on Friday, the Fella's father had to go to the ER with what they thought was a "simple" bleeding ulcer, but when they did a scope to check things out it turns out that his entire stomach is full of ulcers - which they think might be cancerous :-\ They did a biopsy and repaired the actively bleeding ulcer. The pathology will be back today or tomorrow, but we have a feeling it will be a rough road ahead. Thankfully, the soon to be father in law was feeling better by Saturday, so that part is good at least.
QOTD: Daaaaamn, old habits have hit me hard. Stress eating, stress eating, stress eating. I'd like a lobotomy please.
