What's on your Menu (Monday) today RNYers?
Okay that is very good info. I totally forgot about the unflavored protein powder. Ditch the grapes, check. Eggs in poached form are fine. So far egg salad, tuna salad, chicken salad gross. Chicken, about an ounce is ok and then my stomach hurts. Ground chicken, turkey gross. Salmon gross. Thinking of trying steak this weekend. Buddig packs, gross. When I say gross, I mean the smell makes me nauseous. But I will keep trying the meat. Everything I read says if it does not sit well one day wait a few days or a week and try again.
Thank you so much.
Happy Monday everyone! My weekend was awesome. Super busy. Up way too late, up way too early. I traveled to an out of town conference and didn't pack/plan food well at all. Ended up nearly passing out Sunday morning as I tried to get going for the day because I had only eaten about 400 calories and 25g protein the day before. Uhg This is my QOTD answer too by the by. Weekends are madness for me. I never use MFP on the weekends and it is so easy to simply lose track of what the heck I am eating. Some weekends I eat too much and too many of the carby wrong things...other weekends I forget to eat enough and end up miserable and exhausted. Weekends! How I love and hate them.
Side note for those of you playing the home game... I managed to some how (through voodoo, witch craft, and way too much time on phone calls) talk BCBS into covering plastics during my upcoming surgery! I am sooooo excited. I will be having a bladder sling (mesh) removed and during the surgery the plastic surgeon will do a full tummy tuck with panectomy AND breast lift with augmentation. WHHHHHAAA! My cost...$400. CRAZY right? This is the coolest benefit of having had soooo many medical troubles in my family this year...I've met all of my out of pocket maximums for the year so everything is covered at 100% except the $400 per hospital admit co-insurance. I'm super nervous about recovery and pain and all of it but yes please thank you I will gladly have this hanging skin removed and boobs again. I still can't hardly even believe it is going to happen. But it will...next Weds the 26th. Wheee.
Menu:
B: Dannon Light & Fit Greek yogurt w/ 1 cup grapes; L: Salami and mozzarella; D: Not sure...need to go to the store; S: Dannon Light & Fit Greek yogurt
Have a great week ya'll!

I was a 44DDD...now 34B, all skin, no boob :(
All I can say is that when I went and saw the surgeon there was no "What do you think are your problem areas?" or "Why do you think you need this surgery?" It was immediately..."OH yes...I can help with this." And you know it is bad when BCBS is like "Yes, that is medically necessary." LOL The boobies are really rough. The tummy is rubbing and pinching and makes it hard to work out or walk sometimes. I'm thinking this will be awesome but I am also wondering if it is going to be a whole second round of head confusion about my body like when I first started to see the weight come off. Should be interesting eh?
