Yum, butternut squash.  I have some delicata squash that I think I will roast.  I love it because it is delicious, and I don't have to peel it.  I am lazy.

I need to see if anyone in my boondocks area carries it that way. I do love it just not the work that goes along with it!

It was on sale at the grocery store for $2.50....and it is a lot of squash. So much easier than cutting it up...

Good morning!   LOVE(d) donuts.  Not on my menu currently but maybe someday.

QOTD:  lately... "oh my goodness!  You lost weight!" Is a phrase I hear a lot these days.  And I totally pander to it.  I stop just short of wearing my before surgery pic on my forehead.

B: Fairlife with coffee, choc premier protein shake

L:  Pumpkin greek yogurt, Laughing cow wedge

D:  Eggface egg bites w/ketchup, 7 grapes

S:  babybel cheese, nf cottage cheese

Totals:  608 calories, 78 protein 48 carbs

Should I be worried that my menu still contains no meat at five weeks out?  I am so much more comfortable with eggs, yogurt and cottage cheese.

No reason to rush meat if you are getting your protein in! I don't think I had anything beyond tuna until 6 weeks, myself.

LOL, I always have a before pic with me, my drivers license pic was taken 4 months before surgery.  I have been known to whip it out, lol.

I have a side by side before and after on my phone that I show people. I was allowed a full menu except salad by 4 weeks... that being said the transition to dense protein should be taken slowly.... chew well, keep it moist and chew well again... also small bites and chew well. I remember cutting my first piece of beef into pieces the size of  pencil erasers....
