Fur kids are just as important as kids!

On your local group--Wow. Were they sleevers? Can you really have a "treat" at Tim Hortons at 18 months after RNY?? (and then expect to lose weight afterwards?) 3 hours is a mighty long nutrition class! They sound like haters, lol.  I was really hoping to make friends but a lot of them last night were a lot older than me. I exchanged emails with the one woman who nodded about my depression, and there was another that was around my age that nodded but she left early with her husband.

Morning! I time my sublingual B12 dose to be taken on my drive to work. This morning I didn't realize I grabbed an iron pill and stuck that under my tongue rather than the B12 pill.  An iron pill dissolved under your tongue is a wretched taste! Weekend plans- I actually have some. Tonight the kids will meet us downtown (their first time taking the subway on their own into center city ) and we're attending a high school fair. My oldest is applying to high schools- we know our choices but want to talk with folks. Tomorrow is bowling for the younger, piano for the older and my 2nd dietitian appointment. Sunday we're visiting a private high school. 

QOTD: I eat slow. I purposefully eat while at the computer, in front of the TV/while doing make-up etc cause it forces me to stop/start eating. I still make sure I chew 30 times too. I don't eat my a clock and still haven't had hunger return, so I just space my meals out. And of course, no drinking for 30 minutes afterwards. I'm usually able to finish what I've measured & served myself. Time when I can't usually involved carbs (dinner roll etc).

17 months post-op

Weight today 195.3

M1- skipped

M2: greek yogurt, berries/granola

M3: 6oz chicken sausage

M4: ?? will be downtown so i'm sure we'll grab something while out.

 that belt! I haven't worn/shopped for a belt in so long, I don't even know where to start... 

I'll have to add that to my list of things to check out style-wise!

Ohhh your belt is fantastic!!  I am diggin your whole outfit Peach!  I also love your ring set, its very close to mine!

Oh crap on the Iron pill, that would have been gross, hope you were able to get that taste of our your mouth.   Good luck to the boys on their solo subway trip, fingers crossed its easy peasy!  Good luck with all those school applications, hope you find one you all like.

Awesome job on eating slow, not having hunger return!  Have a great weekend!

Good morning Daisy and menu crew. Happy Friday! I will have a busy weekend this weekend as my Son is playing ( I am coaching) in a Hockey Tournament this weekend in Lake Placid New York, home of the 32 and 80 winter Olympics. I recommend a visit to any who have never experienced Lake Placid. Is a special little village.

QOTD - I am a pedal to the metal kind of guy, can be a good and a bad thing. I eat fast as I sometimes consider it a chore and something that I need to do, while eating I tend to be thinking of everything I need to do once done. There are times that I slow down, I need to work on this. I eat all day long, by the clock when at work. I tend to eat less on the weekends as I am not relying on the clock.

B - Protein bar

S - caramel apple pie yogurt

L - Shepards pie, meat and corn, no Potatoes...LOL

S - Buddig ham

D - unsure at this time, will make a good choice...

This is Preop and my wife and I were heading to a Halloween party - can anyone guess who I am? Hint - Food network star! ( I cant believe how far I have come )
